To bad their marriage didn't last either, like many other marriages in the British Royal Family. But that doesn't mean that the couple wasn't photogenic. Therefore, I decided to post pics of their engagement and wedding.
Despite Princess Anne's plea for a quite affair, the wedding ceremony took place on a grand scale and was watched live by millions of viewers around the world.
Great thread pdas1201! While I'm not a big fan of her dress, or her hair, she really was a beautiful bride. In some of these photographs, you can really see the resemblence to her mother. She has her smile. I was just sitting here thinking - and this is really awful, I know - but I don't think that Captain Mark Phillips was very attractive, but Peter really turned out to be very good looking and I think that he resembles his dad quite a bit.
Another question - is that Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones who is the flower girl? And the paige (I think that is what they are called) is that David Linley, or Prince Edward. It looks like Edward, but was he that young when Anne got married?

Yes, the pageboy was Prince Edward. He was nine years old at the time.
