I see, the Cambridges fall back into old habits: Transforming every trip abroad into a children's bithday party...
Yes especially if the activities are a part of the host nation's cultural heritage which is why we'll often see the royals graciously taking part in some sporting activities or traditional dances. The Royals often try activities they may not be particularly skilled at or even like, just to be good guests/sports when they are visiting on tour.

Yeah, may be, but I just can't see her Majesty The Queen doing circus tricks, or The Prince of Wales... This might be, because they are too old. What leads to the question: When will Prince William be too old?
My suspicion is: He, William, is especially asking for this kind of activities in the planning phase of his trips abroad. Maybe he thinks, this is funny... I don't! But this is just my humble opinion!
This trip is bound to be deemed a huge success for The Cambridge’s & Ireland’s hospitable & welcoming reputation.!
And now in Ireland: I have seen funny activities, a dairy farm and some politicians (I don't know, if Sinn Fein folks were among them...).
(....)
So, if William wants to horse around, why not where it could count into the near future? And we, the audiance, could learn something new and exciting and modern about Ireland. Instead we see cows....

They told people that George was learning the guitar, and Charlotte was into gymnastics .
Yes they both took part in it today.?Has William had a go at hurling?
I thought a minute about what I was writing before... and now I know, what I really mean! Sorry for the texts from earlier this day!
I did recognize this at first at the Pakistan trip: What kind of Pakistan was shown to us, the interested western audiance: A very traditional,(.....) country...

Just as an example!
(Sorry for my longer as ususal and boring text here! )
Beef researchers at Teagasc Paul Crossan and Edward O'Riordan showed the couple the Derrypatrick demonstration suckler herd.
They were told about steps being taken to ensure beef is produced in an environmentally sustainable way.
The royal couple were also told about technologies that have been developed and adopted to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the herd.
Teagasc's countryside management specialist Catherine Keena spoke to the couple about the initiatives on farms around the country to promote biodiversity.
Local primary school children from Kiltale National School also got to meet the royal couple.
The students had completed projects on the environment, nutrition and food production and spoke to the royal couple about what they had learned.
They were actually talking about the importance of farming, sustainability and the environment with O’Riordan and Crossan.
“They were very knowledgeable and particularly interested in the farm-to-fork concept and the distance between consumers and food production,” Crossan said after the tour ended. “They were also both very interested in countryside stewardship and the important role farmers have to play in that.”
Crossan said they had discussed farm sustainability and “whether or not farmers are being adequately rewarded for what they do. They were talking about how in an increasingly urbanised world, consumers do not realise exactly how food is produced.”
Agri-food trade and exposure to UK market
In terms of specific sectoral exposure:
Almost 50% of our beef exports go to UK,
About 22% of our dairy exports go to the UK, of which:
41% is cheese, 26% is butter and 12% is SMP;
Cheddar is the largest dairy export to the UK - 47% (81k tonnes) of Irish cheddar cheese is exported to the UK.
Some 47% of cheddar exported to the UK is of Irish origin.
99% of mushroom and 71% forestry products and more than 62% of prepared consumer foods are exported to the UK.
The EU is the biggest source of beef imports for the UK market and accounted for 94pc of all beef imports during the first nine months of 2018.
Beef imports from the EU totalled 200,095t during the 2018 period with imports from the Republic of Ireland accounting for 76pc of this at 151,469t.
After a no-deal Brexit, food exporters to the UK would face a range of immediate and serious issues. For many, the most serious is the threat of tariffs, special import taxes which would face food products entering the UK from the EU.
....
A no-deal exit is the worst possible outcome because everything would change overnight on March 29th – or possibly at a later date if the EU and UK agree to extend the departure date but still can’t reach a deal. This means the introduction of customs and regulatory checks immediately on goods entering the UK market and the imposition of tariffs.

Really beautiful photo at Howth,Co Dublin.
It is a very lovely part of Dublin..... Im glad they went there....
I think what I like best is that even though William and Catherine are very much in the public eye and are very professional in everything they do as future King and Queen and all that role entails, we still get to see them as a down to earth, ordinary couple that still very much enjoy being with each other.
