Prince Maximilian of Furstenberg (b.27 May 1962) [second of three children and only son of Prince Friedrich of Furstenberg (1926-1969) & his wife, Princess Teresa of Lippe (1925-2008)] married, as his second wife, Mrs. Franziska Meinl, nee Preuschl von Haldenburg this year.

He was previously married (since 1991) to Diana, Freiin von Berlichingen, who will turn 50 in ten days; this marriage ended in divorce. They have three children: Clarissa (18-2-1993), Friedrich (8-4-1995) & Alina (15-2-2001).

Duchess Maria Anna in Bavaria (b.7 May 1975) [youngest of five daughters of Max Emanuel, Duke in Bavaria (b.1937) & his wife Elisabeth, nee Countess Douglas (b.1940)] married, as her second husband, Carl-Andreas von Maltzan, Freiherr zu Wartenberg und Penzlin (b.21 November 1966) [older of two sons of Johann-Mortimer, Count Maltzan Freiherr zu Wartenberg und Penzlin (b.1937) & his wife Stephanie, nee Freiin von Zedlitz und Leipe (b.1941)] on 17 October.

The bride was previously married (since 2007) to Klaus Runow (b.3 July 1964); they divorced reportedly in April. They have two sons: Heinrich (b.2010) & Johannes (b.2012).

Sophie is the oldest of four children, only daughter and first one who marries.

Constantin is the younger of two children and second to marry. His sister Désirée (b. 1974) is married to Count Florian von und zu Hoensbroech and has five children.
