I’m wondering about this. What r the laws about surrogacy and legitimacy in the line of succession not noble but royal. I’m sure the baby is their biological but somebody carried it for them. Has this ever happened before where a surrogate child was in line for any succession?

This is not a situation which has arisen before now. So it's something that would have to be tested in the courts. I think that baby Thynn has right to be call Lord Henry, but doesn't have place in the line of succession (as legally adopted children). By British Laws his legal mother is his surrogate mother.

That is interesting. With all the laws they talk about I wonder if this will change things in the future.

I don't think so.
It's important to have very clear, indisputable line of succession, especially to a throne.
Surrogacy allows to have 5 children from different women in different countries at the same time. Total lack of control.
