They are so closely related that they did only kiss and hug. Just like normal people do when meeting relatives they like.

That's incorrect, I've seen on one of the videos, CPss Victoria curtisying (don't know how to spelll it) to the Queen and Prince-Consort of Denmark, and CP Frederik bowing to the King and Queen of Sweden!
 
The royals just arrived to the opera house.

Dronning Margrethe in brown/black, Silvia in greenish/turquoise and Victoria in silver (probably the dress she wore at the Kings 60th birthday party last year)
 
I love Crown Princess Victoria's daytime outfits from yesterday and today and her hair and the red evening dress, is it a new one? I can't recall seeing it before but I dislike the tiara.
 
It seems CP Victoria is favoring those feathers!! She looks absolutely gorgeous though.
 
The crown princess is wearing the dress as she wear by her father 60th birthday today at opera Copenhagen!!!

And the queen wear a new green dress, very elegant!!!

All ladies look lovely today, Queen M doesnt look too happy tonight, she's in a beautiufl tiara.
why are the queens in fur?is it that cold in denmark or is something youd wear to a performance?

Victoria lookes amazing once again. My only complaint would be she should of brought the matching necklace and worn it to the Gala performance.

The pictures of her with the flower girl are very sweet.

Thank You sooo much for all the photos!! Victoria has been a very pleasant surprise this whole trip. Even though Im not to fond of the whole feather fade she still looks so radiant.:clap: :wub:
 
Glittering Tiara, thank you for posting the video recap. I thought it was so cute when Silvia joined her husband in the revolving entrance to the opera house and they both took little steps. It shows how playful they are and sometimes, even with all the fancy trimmings, they don't take themselves too seriously.

i have to say that seeing CP Frederik escorting CP Victoria of Sweden all over town, makes me just the slightest bit jealous for CP Mary. I know that it sounds silly and this visit is a formal one and he is just doing his job, but after seeing the photos of them together, i just want Mary back. I am sure it is not an issue for them, but i don't like it. Does anyone else feel this way at all or is it just me being silly?

I agree robby86, that feather reminded me of cheap wedding souvenirs or something...the rest looked lovely on her! :flowers:
 
I'm not a fan of the tiara Victoria's been wearing during this state visit. I think it looks too big for her head.
 
did mary get the swedish royal order ?

Thanks everyone for the pictures! :) Victoria looks very nice, but that tiara looks strange on her head tonight...Silvia looks great (as usual ;) ), and Margrethe looks a little bit tired.

Field's (the Shopping centre) is Denmark's largest shopping centre, and located in Ørestaden. Since their focus was on Ørestaden (a place which likely wouldn't have been in place now without the bridge to Sweden, imo, as Copenhagen would've expanded more westwards instead.), it makes sense that they would visit a place where so many Swedes come to shop, or work. :flowers:

I feel the same, especially as Victoria most of the time seems to be dressed in bridal colours...
 
SO bad Mary could't attend!I would love to see in normal and tinny clothes now!!!!
 
 
It is Protocol of course, things have to be that way just because of the Protocol, even if Mary was there still Frederick will escort Victoria, they are both CP and next to the line of the throne!! Is good for them that they get well with each other!

I really think big Tiaras are really awful in the head!!! I'am not fun of Tiaras at all!!I think a bit olfashion but of course part of the Royal family Protocol so they msut be used in several ocassions!

Intresting, thanks for the info.Then i suppose it was a good idea to visit the mall. Is it the first time Swedish royals visit the that mall?
