Members of the Belgian RF (and other royal families) were present in Rome today for the beatification of emperor Karl of Austria-Hungary. He was the grandfather of archduke Lorenz, husband of princess Astrid of Belgium.

i didn't see Queen Paola on the pics :s but it's a bit of a suprise to me that Lea Wohlman was there...I like her though, but you don't see her that much with other members of the royal family (except for Prince Alexandre (obviously) and Prince Laurent)

Perhaps Princess Claire will soon announce she is expecting a 2nd child ... in the picture posted today by Cathérine, it looks like her vest is a little tight and that she has a little buldge.

Well, a poster on the Spanish royals message board said they wondered if Claire is expecting another baby. This poster was using this photo for their basis.

I don't think it's a baby, it's just the way she is standing. But it could very well be possible she is expecting.

It's possible... some people are also wondering if Mathilde is pregnant, after looking at these photos . Now we have to wait and see : is all the rumours are correct there will be 4 royal babies in 2005 (Letizia, Mary, Mathilde, Claire), and these are onl for the rumours...

Mary isn't pregnant: the Royal Court announced she went through an operation, but that she wasn't pregnant.

Wasn't it the dress she wore the night before the Danish wedding that made people speculate? Or perhaps it was at both weddings?
However, I totally agree it would be great with some new royal babies in the new year. I also thought that both Mathilde and Claire could be pregnant when I saw the pictures. But like people said we'll have to wait and see.
