Gustaf Magnuson told to Svensk Damtidning that his and Vicky's first child will be born in the beginning of July. Princess Christina and Tord Magnuson have already two grandchildren: Edmund, born in December 2012 to Victor Magnuson and Frida Bergström and Albert, born in February 2013 to Oscar and Emma Magnuson.

Princess Christina delivered on 7th May the Carina Ari Medal to William Forsythe and scholarships to young dancers. The Carina Ari Memorial foundation's purpose is to develop and support Swedish dance.

Princess Christina delivered on 15th May the Solstickan Foundation's Solstickepriset to Göran Harnesk.
The justification to the prize was "for his genuine commitment and many years of operation in support and assistance to children living with personal difficulties for various reasons. Göran Harnesk has for decades worked to children in distress or at risk of suffering, given the help and support that they need. He has emphasized the need for support for children seeking help and that will not always be seen, understood and respected by adults who are close to them."

Princess Christina's interview at the website of the Heart-Lung Foundation. She was the Honorary Chairman of the Foundation in 1971-2014, prince Daniel continues now her work. Princess tells about her engagement with the "Besegra stroke"-project.

Princess Christina is the patron of Time to Act -campaign, UNHCR's global fundraising campaign to provide Syrian refugee children the opportunity to go to school. The campaign was launched in Sweden in April.

Princess Christina attended a couple of weeks ago at Swea International's Sverigemiddag (Sweden Dinner) at Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden. She delivered also the Årets Svenska Kvinna 2014 (The Swedish Woman of the Year) Award to operasinger Nina Stemme, and scholarships to Emma Lundgren Jörum and David Persson. Princess Christina is the Honorary Chairman of Swea International.

:)I like her, she is a very pretty lady, very dignified. Her wedding pictures show a beautiful joyful bride and beaming groom. Today she has a peaceful contended look about her..........she is enjoying her life as we all should.

I like princess Christina too. Her work events aren't so easy to find since she doesn't have an official calendar. Princess Christina has exciting days now, her third grandchild, the first child for Gustaf and Vicky Magnuson, should be born in any day.

Actually, princess Désirée has also done a few events. She delivered the Royal Patriotic Society's Business Medals at the House of Nobility in April 2013.

Princess Christina delivered the medals this year.
 
Svensk Damtidning tells that Gustaf and Vicky Magnuson got their first child, a girl, on Friday 11th July. So after three sons and two grandsons, princess Christina got now a little granddaughter.
 
:)What wonderful news, a precious little granddaughter, what joy! Now think of all the pretty clothes, dolls, bows, carriages, tea parties with cupcakes, birthdays with balloons, and Christmas with wrappings being torn, all the things to do with little girls ......being a grandmother must be heaven on earth!
 
Congratulations to Carl Gustaf and Victoria ,it seemed like no length ago we were looking at their wedding!

It isn't Victoria, her name is Vicky Elisabeth Andrén Magnuson.
 
Just saw on Facebook that Vicky's daughter was born on July 11th 4:34pm 2.8 kg and 49cm.
 
Gustaf Magnuson attended at the pre-wedding party of Kristoffer Ahlbom and Sofia Rahm at Gården Bar and Grill on Friday. There were a lot of celebrities, also Björn Borg and Mats Sundin attended. The wedding is today at the Stockholm Cathedral. Expressen writes about Ahlbom as a profile in Stureplan and a friend of the royals. But he wasn't at the guest list at either Victoria's or Madeleine's wedding.

Vicky Andrén Magnuson told to Svensk Damtidning, that the name of hers and Gustaf's daughter is
Désirée Elfrida Christina
Vicky told that they were very fond of Désirée because it means "The desired" and it has been in Gustaf's family for a long time. They chose Elfrida and Christina because they wanted to hail their mothers. Elfrida comes from Vicky's mother's family some time back. Vicky told that it is great to be parents of a small child and everything is really cozy.
