I don't mind her dress, its a little bit different, I like the contrast of the shoes and I love the colour of the dress. And I love the overall look of the day, especially the reception. Lovely.

I liked this wedding. I like the bride's gown, and the wedding looks like it was taken from a film. :flowers:

I didn't like at all Lady Chatto's Outfit, either Lord Linley...he looks like he is going to a funeral. :bang:

I love the scalloped hemline of this wedding dress and I think the slightly shorter length of the dress looks very effective against the trained coat, if that's what it is. However, I feel that it looked a bit odd having the tiara at the back of the bride's head.

I'm glad to find this thread discussion again. I'm having difficulties with finding the rest of the photos - looks like the links given above from Isifa are broken. A good number of photos are free to access via Shutterstock/Rex but they aren't a lot. Camera Press has some photos but only qualified photo agencies can access.

I've read many things about the von Hofs (Lady Frances and Rodolphe), but there's a lot of information that aren't readily available, so I had to get e-books online (like the ones from Internet Archive website where you can loan books for 14 days) for references. I really wonder how come Burke's and Debrett's don't update a lot. Hmmm...

One thing I love discovering is Rodolphe's roots. Aside from being the great-grandson of Austrian novelist Hugo von Hofmannsthal, on his maternal side, he is the great-grandson of Charles Paget, 6th Marquess of Anglesey. Charles's second eldest daughter, Lady Elizabeth Paget, was one of the train bearers/maids of honour for Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother) at the 1937 coronation. Lord Anglesey himself served as the lord chamberlain for Queen Mary. Lady Elizabeth married to Hugo's son Raimund von Hofmannsthal in 1939. Liz (Elizabeth's nickname) and Rai (as Raimund was called) had two children - Arabella and Octavian (Rodolphe's father). Octavian married Annabel Lee, who heads a dyslexia charity in London (Dyslexia Association of London) - Rodolphe is their eldest son. He also has another brother, Caspar, who is a chef.

Raimund was previously married to Ava Alice Muriel Astor, the daughter of the famed John Jacob "Jack" Astor IV who died in the Titanic. Rai and Alice had a daughter, Romana, who married Scottish artist Rory McEwen. One of Romana and Rory's children, Christabel, was previously married to the current Earl of Durham, Edward "Ned" Durham, who is now the brother-in-law of the current Marchioness of Cholmondeley, Rose (née Hanbury). Ned and Christabel's son, Frederick, is the heir apparent to the earldom. Now she is married to musician Jools Holland. If anyone observed photos during the memorial service of Lord Snowdon in 2017, you'd see Jools and Christabel attending, and they are close with David, Sarah, and Frances.

There aren't a lot of other known info about Rodolphe and Frances, especially their education background (Frances said she did not go to university/was degree-less) or where do they educate their children. This is despite their connections to the aristocracy and the Royal Family. At least their work background are clear. Frances is the editor-in-chief and publisher of Luncheon Magazine (check their Instagram here!) while Rodolphe is a senior director at the David Zwirner gallery in London. He previously owned a gallery called Dicksmith, which closed during the recession.
