The Queen wore the Kent sapphire brooch in Malta yesterday on two different outfits.

But I don't think I have seen today's brooch before. It looks like aquamarine, but I couldn't find a good pic.

I think that's the Prince Albert Sapphire. If so, that is one one of he oldest brooches she owns.

Ooops, thank you for the correction! I somehow got confused. I didn't know that it was her oldest brooch, because I seem to remember that Queen Victoria had some jewels from her mother, that were passed down to the Queen. Wasn't there a brooch as part of the Kent amethysts? Or am I off track again?

Is that a new aquamarine for HM as she headed off to Sandingham?

Nope- with that rock hanging off her coat- chances are pretty slim of her seat being taken. Everyone knows it has to belong to the Queen! Good one ma'm! Goregous!

It was a royal treat to see them all again, and I had forgotten that Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik diamond Tiara reappeared earlier this year.
