I like the ruby parure on Maxima, it suits her very well. However, i do not like the aquamarine suite on her as it looks like it has been photo-enhanced onto her.

I love the ruby parure that Maxima wore to the gala. It sparkles, just like she does.
I love all shiny & glittery things!... Especially jewelry!!!

Has she worn this tiara before. Usually the Dutch RF is a big dissapointment when it comes to Tiaras but this tiara was beautiful.

I don't like this Tiara.. It looks like plastic. :P
I more think the gems looks like its have been made from acrilic . I think the stones real colour is more like light blue http://www.angelfire.com/de3/verenas...as/Maxima.html. Yes it reminds me the statue of liberty

The Ruby Parure by Mellerio was made for QUEEN EMMA in 1889.

She wore it one time, during the state visit from Canada to the Netherlands in 2005.

I agree with you, the rose cut diamond bandeau is one of the loveliest pieces in the Dutch collection and it looked great on Maxima! :)

i don't think it's the wedding tiara of mabel. the center motif looks too "full".

I think you can combine this Tiara in different ways...Don't know exactly, but maybe it's another version of the mabel-Tiara .
I just cannot think of another Dutch Tiara that looks like this.
