Fernando II of León and Galicia, was king of León and Galicia from 1157 to 1188. He inherited the Galician-Leonese kingdom for the death of his father, Alfonso VII of León and Castile, who split his state with his two sons with Berengária of Barcelona, Fernando and Sancho.
