I may be mistaken but aren't grandsons of Imperial Princesses given the title Bey, while the granddaughters are titled Hanim? Granted, neither are royal titles, but still.

Thanks
So for Kenize Mourad
Her great-grand father was Sultan Murad
Granmother was Hatice Sultane
Her mum was Hanimsultan Selma
And it stops there. Not title for Kenize Murad from her ottoman roots.
Correct?

Thanks.

I watched the video posted a few posts beforem with Kenize Murad. I do not understand Turkish but as she speaks english a lot, I found it very interesting.
She said many things about her maternal side, but I did not manage to fimd anything about her dad, and according to what she said, he was a known personnality.

Thanks I made a research and found that he died at 1991, and then now raja should be her brother. But i did not find anything else. In the interview she said that when she visited her father in India, after 6 months of purdah she left for Paris. But she did not explain if after she left India she kept contact with him.

The current live prince abdulhamid kayihan osmanoglu( born 1979) want to begin with politic in turkey
link in english YUSUF KANLI - Of hearts and brains

excerpt:
"It appears Turkey will soon have in politics someone from the former royal family: Abdülhamid Kayihan Osmanoğlu. Stressing that he has received an invitation from some parties, Osmanoğlu said he was very positive on entering politics.

His participation in politics, which will be the first from the Ottoman royal family, will of course delight most conservatives but particularly the neo-Ottomanist foreign minister, Ahmet Davutoğlu. As it is for any other Turk, it is of course the constitutional right of Osmanoğlu to get involved in politics."
