King Carl Gustaf attended today the re-opening of Rosendal Palace park at the Royal Djurgården. The King planted a tree and went for a walk in the park.

In 2016, a renovation of Rosendal Palace park began and to mark the 200th anniversary of the Palace's foundation, the King inaugurated this year's stage of the renovation that concerns the Palace's immediate area.

King Carl Gustaf inaugurated the traditional Enthusiast Vehicle Exhibition at Solliden today. There are over 400 vehicles. Unfortunately it was raining today.

The King gave today an audience to Anders Thornberg, The National Police Commissioner of Sweden. Thornberg told about current issues within the police's area of operation.

On Monday 25 September, H.M. The King and Minister for Infrastructure and Housing Andreas Carlson visit Stenungsund together with Governor Sten Tolgfors. The purpose of the visit is to show support to the municipality and others who are working to deal with the consequences of the extensive landslide on the E6 in Stenungsund. The aim is also to get information about the current situation and the work ahead.

King Carl Gustaf met today Prime minister Ulf Kristersson at the Royal Palace. The king meets regularly with the prime minister to inform himself about the government's work. The Prime minister informed about the government's planned measures to combat gang crime.

The King is on a Royal Technology Mission on 10-12 October in Skellefteå, Luleå and Boden with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences IVA.

Sustainable change and development is the theme of IVA's technology trip to Västerbotten and Norrbotten, where visits are made to Skellefteå, Luleå and Boden. Questions in focus are technology development, competence provision and research. The delegation consists in addition to H.M. The King, IVA's president Marcus Wallenberg and Tuula Teeri, CEO of IVA, of approximately 30 different representatives from business, authorities and universities.

The King visited the Police Authority last week, due to the serious situation with gang crime and serious violence in society.
The recent escalation, including people being killed and injured in their homes, affects the whole community.
The King follows the serious development closely. His thoughts are with all Swedes who are affected and worried.
The King got an overview of the situation and information about the Police's work and expressed his thanks to all police officers who work tirelessly for a safe Sweden.

The King attended yesterday the autumn meeting of the Swedish Gastronomic Academy.

Today the King gave an audience to Mats Malm, Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy.
Mats Malm formally invited the King, the Academy's Patron, to the Swedish Academy's formal gathering on December 20, presented the gathering's program and this year's recipient of the Royal Award.
Malm also informed the King about the completion of the Academy's dictionary.
