That adress is a (office-) villa in a green neighbourhood bordering the Wannsee lake. A few villas furtherer, Tristanstrasse 8-10 was the house of the three brothers Schenk, Counts von Stauffenberg (famous for the plot to assasinate Hitler).

I sent a letter to a british royal yesterday... I only realize now that I wrote my own address only on the envelope... do you think they will manage to sent me a reply back?

So you put just their name on the front of the envelope and yours on the back right? Provided they actually receive the letter, you should get a reply as usual.
I am not sure what the postal service is like in Italy, but here in the UK, they are pretty good at delivering letters without the full address - it may take longer to deliver but it's happens quite a lot.

No, I wrote the address of Clarence House on the back as usual and I added also mine... It italy the sender's address has to be written on the back of the envelope, on the top left... But I read is some blogs that it is better to write my address on the inside of the letter, again...
In italy the service is quite awful, but it works better for foreign post... For example, when I sent a letter to the dutch royals, I got the reply back after 3 weeks... Thanks for asking

It took quite a long time for me to get a response from Fabiola's group. Something like two or three months.

Which adress have you tried? The old from Archduke Otto in Pöcking or Casa Austria in Anif?

I think I wrote to Casa Austria, didn't realise there was a residence in Pöcking. Why? Have there been any successes with Pöcking?

I decided I needed to do some crazy things this year so I sent a card congratulating Prince Carl-Philip and Princess Sofia on their wedding and I got a card back that said "we wish to extend our sincere gratitude for all the considering shown to us on the occasion of our wedding. We highly appreciate your thoughtfulness." The pictures is of the two of them on their wedding day. :)

Hi, I'm new here. Just wanted to report that I recently wrote to HRH Crown Princess Mary, and I did receive a reply. It said "Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess has asked me to thank you for your kind letter." It was signed Chief of the Court. Is that a typical response?
How fun...!!

Was it in English?
What I noticed about the response I received from Queen Fabiola's people was that it was in French, which I don't speak, but was, of course, able to translate on-line accurately with a bit of doing. I was surprised as Fabiola speaks English and I just thought they would, as a favor, respond in the language which my letter was written as a courtesy.
