Princess Beatrice , in her role as Afiniti's Vice President of Partnerships & Strartegy, attended the Women in Cable Telecommunication UK 2019 Christmas event. Beatrice has been employed by Afiniti since April 2017.

On 3 December Princess Beatrice and her fiancé, Edoardo , attended the annual NAEF Ethiopia Christmas Carol Concert, Carols by Candlelight, held at St Luke’s Church in aid of St. George’s School, Ethiopia.

Not surprising. The guest list for the wedding was filled with many of their social circle. Likely many of whom will be at their wedding.

Beatrice stands to have a posher wedding guest list then her sister and cousins. Well William had a ton of royals but because of his position. Beatrice rubs elbows with some very rich circles. And some of the former royals (Germans and Greeks) or minor royals like Amedeo. Alexandra of Hannover was among those at the wedding in St Moritz as well.

Hope they enjoyed some skiing and the wedding. :flowers:

I don't click on DM articles but I'm extremely happy to see that Beatrice is getting some positive press for her charitable involvements.

While I don't see Beatrice being "brought up" to a working royal for the BRF and its "Firm", this alone tells me that to Beatrice, it doesn't really matter as she is happy doing what she can on her own initiative. ?
 
:previous: It actually ends today. Chinese New Year spans for 15 days, the last being when the Lantern Festival is held. Maybe it was yesterday and that's what they were celebrating? ?
 
Imran Khan and his ex-wife Jemima were close friends of Beatrice's late beloved "Aunt Duch".?
 
Can someone tell more about the Afiniti team and why Beatrice is meeting with president of Pakistan?

It isn't the easiest website to manouvre around - in fact based on the website I would, if I had my own business, go to someone else for assistance as it is so hard to navigate.

I didn't know Beatrice had met the President of Pakistan. I have seen images of her with the Prime Minister Imran Khan - who was also photographed with William and Catherine last year. Afiniti's something to do with artificial intelligence, and they have staff in Pakistan, but Beatrice is meeting the President of Pakistan, and also PM Imran Khan … whom I'd think she probably already knows. She's there in her capacity as a senior staff member at Afiniti, not as a member of the Royal Family, but it's interesting …

I can imagine it's wonderful being out in the country and away from London. But I have lost count of how many times Hello and other media insisted that Edoardo and Beatrice are hunkered down at St. James..:whistling:

Well, the article quotes remarks made by Sarah during a podcast - so I’m guessing she knows where her daughter is living at the moment and that the media made assumptions which turned out not to be true.

Although the situation causing it is unfortunate, I think it’s very nice that Beatrice has this chance to grow closer to her future MIL & I’m sure Edo’s mom is pleased to have the couple with her.

Beatrice is a wonderful spokeswoman for dyslexia. She is very well spoken, and her personal struggle adds that depth to the discussion.:flowers:

Both her and Eugenie have taken on patronages that you can feel their real passion for. Its not ticking off a box to them. Of course having suffered it herself, like her sister with scoliosis adds to that.

For all their faults in life, Andrew and Fergie managed to raise two intelligent and compassionate daughters. Its a shame the media only ever focussed on their holidays or wedding/dating. Very little attention to their work.

Its great hearing her speak about the advances made in dyslexic education since she was in school but also the continuing work.
