There is an feature in Hello magazine this week about an project to help victims of human trafficking which is being supported by Andrew, Sarah and the girls. Andrew was in india last year and was introduced to a woman who was trying to help these victims. He rang Sarah and got Sarah to talk to this lady. They agreed to help and Key to Freedom was formed. Sarah and Eugenie visited privately in March. Topshop agreed to stock sarongs/scarves made by these women. Andrew donated £10,000 from his charitiable trust to kick start it all. Love the scarves, hope it goes well for them.

What a great project. Human trafficking doesn't get much attention, but the patronage should help.

The Duchess of York is spending the weekend with the Queen at Balmoral after being accepted back into the fold, report says.
The Queen has invited Sarah to Balmoral before, but that was in 2004 and 2008, before the cash for access scandal, Sarah's Oprah show, etc. It's interesting that even after all that, the Queen is allowing Sarah at Balmoral.
The BRF, as we know, has to be forward-thinking. I wonder if the Queen is thinking ahead to a time when she won't be around anymore, and has decided that it's better to keep Sarah within the "protection" of the royal fold than let her go off and do her own thing.
Also, I think the royal family has learned from the mistakes made with Sarah and Diana. Kate had more support and more time to adjust to royal life. It's possible that the Queen has realized Sarah could have benefited from more support in the past (and still can).
I wonder who leaked the story to the tabs since HM is not in the habit of announcing her private house guests.
I was thinking that as someone had to have leaked it for photographers to be at the airport as there aren't ever any photos of Anne and Edward plus family arriving.
I always wonder if the Queen does this as a birthday present for Beatrice (weren't the other two occasions she visited just after her birthdays). After all I'm sure Beatrice doesn't need or want for anything so maybe this is the present you get for a grandaughter who has everything.
My thought was tied to Beatrice's birthday as well and/ or an engagement announcement of Beatrice and Dave Clark. There are family arrangements to discuss, and it would be important for all to have Sarah included.
When I heard of the Yorks staying at Balmoral, those were my first thoughts as well. If Beatrice and Dave Clark are planning an engagment and eventually a marriage, Sarah will be there for the celebrations. It would be practically impossible to make up plans without her. So some time with the queen and the whole York family seems logical.
I'm not sure about a wedding but you never know what the future holds for Andrew & Sarah.
Great idea (if true) but they are obviously discussing "it" without Dave.
How often does Mark Philips attend royal family events if his own children aren't involved? He is, afterall, exactly the same - the divorced spouse of one of the Queen's children and the other parent of two of her grandchildren.
