Interesting list, thanks! Would you happen to know what an aide-de-camp does exactly?

An aide-de-camp is an officer from the armed forces who is detached to the Military House of Her Majesty The Queen. They are no 'guard' for her but do escort her and also form the visible part of the 'royal entourage'. They are recognizable to the golden or silver 'ropes' they wear as a distinction mark of their position.

The Prince of Orange is an 'Aide-de-Camp Extraordinary to The Queen', you can see these golden embroidered 'ropes' on his uniform as well:

According to the Almanach of State, The Queen has quite a few aide-de-camps:

1x Aide-de-Camp General, Chief of the Military House of Her Majesty The Queen:
Lieutenant-General of the Cavalry, A.G.J.M. Blomjous (Royal Army)

10x Aide-de-Camp:
Captain-Lieutenant-at-Sea J.P.D. van Zaalen (Royal Navy)
Captain-Lieutenant-at-Sea A.S. de Kleijn (Royal Navy)
Colonel N. Ruijgrok-Gillebaard (Military Communications Services)
Lieutenant-Colonel J.A. Dijkstra (Marines Corps)
Lieutenant-Colonel J. van Leeuwen (Royal Air Force)
Lieutenant-Colonel C.A.J. ten Anscher (Military Administration)
Lieutenant-Colonel W.A. Baron (Military Judiciary)
Lieutenant-Colonel R.J.F. Bergman (Military Psychological and Social Services)
Lieutenant-Colonel C.L.A.N. van Tartwijk (Royal Air Force)
Captain B. van den Berg (Military Logistic Services)

3x Ordonnance Officer of Her Majesty The Queen:
Commissioner P.M. Wiersinga (National Police)
First Lieutenant G.A. Hermkens (Royal Air Force)
Lieutenant-at-Sea First Class F.B.H. Mulder (Royal Navy)

These Aide-de-Camps are detached for a few years. After then they become 'Aide-de-Camp Extraordinary' and can still be asked to assist on larger events at the Palace, like weddings, funerals, etc.

Wow! A day of rest really has done her well, the Princess looks amazing IMO. The jewels do not hurt either, is she wearing two new diamond brooches on her dress or are they fake?

Dinner?

It is a lunch, I think. Tonight is a concert in the Opera House.

Wow, really beautiful outfit for a pregnant woman!!!!
I really like and find it very sexy!

What a fantastic dress for Máxima! She looks stunning! She looked much more relaxed today!
And finally we saw a nice hat on her :flowers:

About the news that CP Mary is pregnant as well as Maxima - from:

"Dutch royals visiting Australia said the Danish couple's news made them part of a royal baby boom in Europe, AAP reported.

The Prince of Orange, Willem-Alexander, said he and his wife, Princess Maxima, were expecting their second child in April 2007.

Spain's Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia were also expecting their second child next May, Willem-Alexander said.

"We congratulate her tremendously, and her husband as well," Willem-Alexander said of the couple's news."

Thanks for all the pictures. That is one sexy dress Máxima is wearing! Her coiffure and jewels are just beautiful. I really like her hat from the day event, it's just beautiful. All in all it's good to see her happy and well-rested.:flowers:

Mini baby boom, let's hope there will be more announcement from othe royal couples, the more the better for me !

Maxima looks so wonderful  and I think this dress isn't that bad.

Maxima looks Great! The dress, the jewelry, the upswept hair do, the shoes...LOVELY! Alexander looks nice too :)

I think the hem of the dress hangs weird cause its silk...but totally appropriate IMO for a pregnant woman. She looks sexy without feeling boxed in and showing everything. A lot of Hollywood celebrities could learn a thing or two.

Thanks for all the pictures, Maxima looks Great!!!!!

I love the white dress she wore today! Its so 'fresh' looking! Its really cute and I'm assuming appropriate for the weather down there. They look like their having a lovely time.

CP Maxima looks absolutely stunning in that white slip on dress! She looks well recuperated from a day's rest.

Love the white dress! Very sexy and fun! Maxima looks much more well rested today.

I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but tonight at 20.30 Dutch time there will be a broadcast at the tvchanel 'Nederland 1' called 'NOS: Oranje boven, Down Under.' It will concern the official visit of TRH the Prince and Princess of Orange too Australia and New Zealand.

Thanks for posting the info Princess Robijn :)

I think Maxima has made up for the brown outfit. The printed dress with the wrap around her shoulders was avery beautiful evening dress, also to mention the white dress was very pretty, and liked how she matched it with the dark pearls. The black outfit worn with the beige hat was also very pretty. Not to forget all the otehr pretty outfits she had worn. On this trip she looked happy and looked like she was having a good time. Her wardrobe was great.

Do you know if we can watch the broadcast on the web?
