The Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan​

Almarhum Tuanku Ja'afar passed away at the age of 86 on 27 December 2008 11.45am Malaysian time at the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.​

Almarhum will be buried in a Royal Funeral at the Sri Menanti Royal Mausoleum in the afternoon tomorrow 29 December 2008.​

Tuanku Muhriz is Negri Yang di-Pertuan Besar

KUALA PILAH: Tunku Besar Sri Menanti Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir was yesterday proclaimed the 11th Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan, succeeding his uncle Tuanku Jaafar Tuanku Abdul Rahman, who died on Saturday.
Tuanku Muhriz is the son of the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Munawir, who was Tuanku Jaafar’s half-brother.

The official announcement was made by the Datuk Undang Sungai Ujong Datuk Klana Petra Datuk Mubarak Dohak at the Balairong Seri at Istana Besar Sri Menanti at 3.45pm.
The decision to appoint Tuanku Muhriz was made by the Ruling Council consisting of the four Undangs or main chieftains of Negri Sembilan.
Tuanku Muhriz is a businessman as well as a director of Bangkok Bank Berhad.
The appointment of the Negri Sembilan ruler is different from that in other states as the four Undangs have the authority to decide who sits on the throne.

Malaysia's former king dies

Malaysia's former king Tuanku Ja'afar Tuanku Abdul Rahman has died aged 86.
The ex-monarch passed away in a hospital intensive care unit on Saturday (27.12.08) several hours after being admitted with chest pains and dizziness.
Tuanku Ja'afar was also the constitutional head of central Negri Sembilan state for 41 years - the longest serving ruler of the southern region.
Through the country's unique monarchy system which allows hereditary state rulers to become king for five years, Tuanku Jaafar ruled Malaysia between 1994 and 1999 as the country's 10th constitutional monarch.

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam last night consented to attend a royal banquet to commemorate the silver jubilee of the Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah's reign.

On the left of Princess Amal is Raja Yong Sofia and on the right is Raja Datuk Seri Elena, both are the daughters of the Sultan of Perak.
 
I would like to know the names of the young son, born to Raja Nazrin Shah and Zara Salim Davidson of Perak.
He was born on March 14th 2008.
Does the couple have more children?

Tengku Datuk Seri Aishah Rohani, the consort of the new Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan was proclaimed as the new Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan. She is now styled Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tunku Ampuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani Binti Almarhum Tengku Besar Mahmud.
