Eltz Castle: Such a charming place

Yep, and there is the "Trutzeltz", a counter castle, too! It even has an English Wikipedia entry:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trutzeltz_Castle

In short: Castle Eltz was once under siege but stood undefeated. So, the party against the Castle Eltz, the besiegers, decided to built a Castle by themselves on a highground nearby to have it a bit more comfortable.

They even shot at the Castle Eltz with a catapult from there and Castle Eltz had to surrender.

Is there an extra chapter for "illegal" children of nobility, such as Delphine in Belgium...?

Just learned about a popular German who comes from such an offspring and wondered if they are mentioned somewhere in this forum.

TXS.
