Princess Kalina of Bulgaria has refused to give a blood sample for a breathalyzer test after crashing an SUV into a parking barrier in the Bulgarian town of Borovitz, the private NOVA TV station reported on Sunday, citing sources of the country's Prosecutor's Office.
Faced with this situation, the investigators will take into account the measurement of exhaled air that the policemen did when they went to the scene of the accident on Saturday, and which yielded a result of 1.5 grams per liter of alcohol, added the source.
In this case, the car, which was voluntarily handed over to the authorities as physical evidence, according to NOVA TV, which adds that Kalina from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Gómez-Acebo is no longer under police surveillance.
The private broadcaster Nova TV has shown images of a smashed barrier, and the 24 chassa newspaper published photos of the only daughter of Simeon II of Bulgaria in a police patrol car after the accident.
Kitin Muñoz denied today that her wife was drunk and accused the media of exaggerating what happened just because of where she came from.

:previous: I am not sure what her husband accuses the media of exaggerating. It sounds as if they are simply quoting the prosecutor's office. But perhaps he finds it easier to blame the media than law enforcement.

"Kalina from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Gómez-Acebo" probably ought to be translated as "Kalina of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Gómez-Acebo". Her, and her brothers', paternal surname is Sajonia-Coburgo, the Spanish translation of Saxe-Coburg (the name of the Bulgarian royal dynasty).

By the way, I'd like to thank you for all the work you do in posting news about numerous royal and noble families, which very much improves the quality of the forum.
 
Yesterday Tsar Simeon and Queen Margarita accompanied by Prince Boris, Prince Konstantin and Princess Maria, Princess Kalina and Prince Simeon-Hassan attended Mass at Rila Monastery for the 80th anniversary of the death of Tsar Boris and the accession of Tsar Simeon.

What an extremely interesting man! He talked about physics, finance and his upbringing. He wants the world to know how much Bulgarians helped Jews during WWII.

Upon being asked when and how he started valuing money, he says that he worked at a tomato far in west Spain at 14, "from dawn to sunset". He has preference for XIX century french writers.

His son Tassilo is about to graduate from College (Biology) and Olympia is about to start her own clothing brand in Paris.

On December 26, according to tradition, on the occasion of the “Congregation of the Blessed Virgin Mary”, the Sacred Liturgy of the Bishop “Assumption of the Virgin” was celebrated in the Metropolitan Cathedral of the city of Samokov.

Joining King Simeon and Queen Margarita at the temple were Princess Kalina, her husband Mr. Kitin Muñoz and Prince Simeon-Hasan.

All the children of the King and Queen, Princess Miriam and most of the grandchildren who were in Madrid were present.
