Princess Yasmin Aga Khan and Basil Embiricos - 1985

Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, the daughter of Rita Hayworth and Prince Aly Khan, married Basil Embiricos, scion of a Greek shipping family, on 15 may 1985.

The announcement of their engagement was made in Gouvieux, France, by the bride's half-brother, the Aga Khan.

Princess Yasmin Aga Khan and Basil Embiricos were married in a civil ceremony at her apartment on Central Park West. Justice E. Leo Milonas of the Appellate Division of State Supreme Court officiated.

At the times Princess Yasmin was 35 years old, and Mr. Embiricos, 36.
