Meghan lives alone and if she heard voices or noises outside her home at night and they seriously alarmed her, she had every right to call the police IMO. I would in that situation. In the vast majority of cases by the time the police arrive whoever it is that's causing the problem will have dispersed and the police will just soothe and advise the householder.
What concerns me more is the behaviour of the tabloids within Britain, with their cartoons and sly allusions to 'minxes' and 'exotic blood' and 'porn sites'. Meghan is not a porn star. She's a TV actress who happens to be bi-racial. There is a difference!
