I can't seem to find it now to post here, but last night I saw a clip of Brian Mulroney on a Canadian morning chat show talking about his sons' experience as pageboys. He said the boys didn't really understand how many people would be there, despite adults trying to explain it, and so they were wowed and thrilled on the car ride over. They'd told the boys to feel free to wave at anyone who waved at them, so they just waved the whole time in the car with Meghan. He said his son who grinned so big at the start of the ceremony said afterwards that he'd never heard a trumpet before in real life and it was grander a sound than he expected.
Mulroney also said that the kids had a couple of chances to get to know each other before the big day; it sounded like they had a couple of playdates in addition to the rehearsal. They wanted all the children to feel comfortable with each other since they were going to be spending a long day in each other's company, and by the end of it he said they all seemed like buddies or a little "club."
