From Save the Children facebook:
"Together*with Psychiatry Region South, we help PTSD-affected veterans and their families deal with the difficult everyday life with trauma, shame and loneliness.*Proud veteran families received today the patron of Save the Children for crab fishing, play and enjoyment at the veteran club in Fredericia."

From reading his biography I have no doubt these type of outings are regular with his kids.

This photo is lovely, getting down to their level

"Once a year I am in Silicon Valley, told the Crown Prince, who stressed that he found this place very inspiring. In that regard, the Crown Prince told a little about his experiences with the talented people in the hi-tech paradise Silicon Valley, which for entrepreneurs is what Hollywood is for actors. It is simply the place where dreams can come true. Also for Danish companies in the United States.:flowers:

And here is a BB video of Frederik yesterday at the School Olympics: https://www.billedbladet.dk/kongeli...rik-fortalte-om-sine-boerns-saerlige-skoledag

He told how Christian at that very moment was attempting to qualify for the School Olympics at a stadium near his school.
He said to our reporter that His children run a little and play tennis (that's probably Bella) and that it would be nice if they would do some running in three weeks time.
- So we may hope Frederik's family will join him at one or more of the Royal Runs. I'm pretty certain Mary will join him at some point.

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #19, 2018.
Written by Marianne Singer.

Each year schools from all over DK, more than 70.000, compete for the School Olympics, with the finals this year taking place in Aarhus on 12-15 June.

Frederik attended the competitions for schools in Copenhagen, the 6th and 7th graders. 1.300 pupils from more than 50 schools were present.

In his pep-talk to the children Frederik told about his own children who also competed for the School Olympics. "It's pretty cool for me to be dad to a couple of children are taking part in the School Olympics. I'm really pleased with that. Have a good day and nail it."

As is tradition Frederik started the whole thing by firing the starting shot of the 2 km run. And then he strolled around offering encouragement, when he wasn't chatting away with the pupils or presenting a medal or two.

Frederik later on told more about Christian: "My oldest was fine. (About attending the competitions). He looked forward to it, in his own way. he's probably like like all the boys and girls here. There is a lot of noise and activities, but if you have a tight-knit class, you are nevertheless ready perform well when you are up."

Frederik himself run in various ways three to four times a week.

Frederik hinted that we might see Isabella and or Christian for the Royal Run.

Is me seeing Frederik wearing a velvet jacket?

Hmm, I seem to recall someone else who is fond of wearing velvet jackets too. The name eludes me though... But I do remember some negative comments. Surely you also think Frederik in a velvet looks tacky as well, right? ;)?

That's right, Polyesco.
The blue Hugh Hefner jacket Frederik wore. :D

Crown prince Frederik is right now presenting the gold medals to the swedish hockey team, who won the gold in the world championship in Copenhagen just a few minutes ago!
