    Victoria, Princess Royal (1840-1901)

Does anyone know if there could possible be film footage of Vicky? In one short bit I have seen of Queen Victoria, her first on film, for a split second there is a woman near the carriiage all in black morning sort of like photo's I have seen of Vicky. Or might there be a recording of her...

King Edward VII (1841-1910) and Queen Alexandra (1844-1925)

Edward and Alexandra In this photograph I see a resemblance to Charles and Diana too. Especially, Alix's expression, a sly smile. She is my favorite royal of all time. I wish we had photographs of her smiling.

Sophie Gives Birth to a Son: James, Viscount Severn - December 17, 2007

I am a bit disappointed with the names they chose for the little Viscount. I would have chosen James, Edward, Albert, Phillip, Charles. But who am I to complain. I am glad they have a healthy baby.

Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence, eldest son of Edward VII (1864-1892)

I had also wondered if Eddy suffered from (ADD). It would explain a lot. He had some good qualities. Wasn't he much loved by his mother and sisters?

Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll (1848-1939)

I enjoy learning about all of Queen Victoria's children. But if I had to pick a favorite it would be Princess Louise. She had an interesting life. She was an artist and was the first lady of Canada. I would love to hear other opinions. Elizabeth

Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence, eldest son of Edward VII (1864-1892)

Albert Victor and May I have never seen that second photograph. It is very nice. I think part of AV's problem was that he was somewhat deaf. That could account for his lack of learning. I wish there was film of him not just still photographs. This is a bit off topic but, does anyone know if...

Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh: State Visit to the USA - May 3-8, 2007

I enjoyed the Queen's visit. I was annoyed at the "reports" on Fox News because they kept saying stupid things like "What does she know about horses?" They can't understand why Americans would feel admiration for QEII. I believe she is a wonderful person.

    Queen Victoria (1819-1901)

Queen Victoria and her Family I am rather new to this forum. This may have been done before but, I would like to start a new thread about Queen Victoria, her family and descendants. She is probably my favorite Queen of England. The whole Victorian Age interests me. I have just read the book...

    Your very only favourite princess

Queen Alexandra I would love to talk to her and see her side of things during her life as Princess of Wales and later Queen. I like the fact that she was kind and did not take herself to seariously. I admire her for putting up with Edward VII. Though I have read she had some bad personality...

King Edward VII (1841-1910) and Queen Alexandra (1844-1925)

It's a bit of strech but, funny how Edward VII and Prince Charles were both born in November. Alexandra was born on December 1, 1844 and Diana was born July 1, 1961. I have been fascinated with Alexandra for years. I was just saying that in some early photos of Alexandra she looks a bit like...

Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence, eldest son of Edward VII (1864-1892)

Prince Eddy's Death This may be a bit of a strech. I have worked in the medical field and I have wondered if Eddy might have had colitis or crones disease besides being sick from the flu. I have known people with these conditions and they have told me that the suspected that relatives in the...

Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence, eldest son of Edward VII (1864-1892)

Victorian Royalty One of my main interests is Queen Victoria and her descendants. Queen Alexandra is also one of my favorites. It may seem a bit morbid but, I have heard that there is a deathbed photograph of Prince Albert Victor (Eddy) Duke of Clarence. Can anyone tell me where I can find it...
