Princess Marie's wedding tiara is really beautiful! I love it
Question: Prince Henrik gave Mary some marvelous black pearls.
What did Prince Henrik give to Marie ??????
Did Fred & Mary give the wedding couple a gift ?? Anyone know what it was??
thanks,
The ring isn't my cup of tea, but one has to admit, it is quite exquisite!
http://kongehuset.dk/publish.php?id=17252Was this tiara given to her? I was under the impression that it was loaned to her for the wedding. It really suits her. She looks beautiful in it, and I love the floral design.
I'm sure Marie aould love to have a tiara to match each gown, I for one would like to see her with a substantial necklace and bracelet. This whole New Years Gala is just wonderful. I do wish the British Royals would have galas like this and not be so stingy with the tiara outings.
Marie looks lovely in this tiara, it is one of the prettiest floral tiaras of all the royal families. But, and I probably being waaaaaay to picky here, but I'm a little annoyed that the tiara is in a while gold/platinum setting and the trim on her gown is yellow gold-ish in color. I am a firm believer that you don't mix the metals/colors. It just doesn't look as pulled together as it could be. Just a thought. However, as it is the Order of the ELephant I must let it go....

It is as far as I know her only tiara. I have not seen or heard of a matching parure. But I would advise you to ask Bjarne at the Royal Jewels of the World Message Board - Royal Jewels of the World Message Board. He knows everything worth knowing about the Danish royal jewellerywill this one be marie's "assigned" tiara? does it have a matching parure?
