I don't like it. I appreciate that it's a bit different but not my cup of tea at all. However, I love the fourth picture - she looks very happy and relaxed.

It is also not my cup of tea but it is a maternity dress and she wants to be ease in it when the weather is hot but she carries it very well.

I'm not a fan of the dress either. That shade of yellow isn't really my cup of tea, and there's something off about the fitting of the dress. However, the colours work well on Charlene and I like her shoes, but even then I would've preferred to see her in small high heels or something.

I don't like it the colour is too bland for her and she appears to be wearing no makeup she looks sallow like the colour IMO.

She needs color in the worst way....

I have to agree with other posters re the color. This look is very bland. I know that flats are more comfortable at this stage of pregnancy, but a little heel would step up her look in a big way.

Hmmm...looks like I'm the only one who really likes that dress!:whistling:

Oh dear what a disaster. The colour and shape do nothing for her. Charlene never seemed to be a fan of fashion but since she has become pregnant she seems to be beyond caring.

Oh my...are we discussing the same Charlene??! She is, in my opinion, consistently the best and most glamorously dressed of all the Royal women on the scene today bar NONE.

Especially in the last year with her branching out to Ralph Lauren, Carolina Herrera, and others. She has never looked better fashion wise.

I've never understood why she dropped Armani and took up Akris who IMO doesn't value her...

For the most part her clothing (even when not pregnant) is bland and boring. This one is basically a bland shapeless dress, does nothing for her...but I can give her more of a pass while pregnant because it's more about being comfortable than anything else.

I totally agree. Akris is very modern, very masculine. And they use weird fabrics. I always think she should dress "softer". I loved the babyblue ensemble that she wore last week (the dress and coat). Blue really flatters her. But i don´t know where the suit comes from.

It's by Carolina Herrera:flowers: i would like that she would wear more colourful pieces... She has improved thouhg because now we can see her in blue, light azure, navy colors instead of the plain beige

This dress is not my up of tea but this dress is not a desaster. I like the colors.

She is onr of the best dress of the royal princesses.

Apart Mary of Denmark who was expecting twins, not other princesses were pregnant twins. She is soon pregnant of seven months and all the maternity dresses are the same.
The women who are expecting twins are very often tired and prefer to wear confortable cloths and flat shoes.
They have no more form and are wearing large dresses. Look at Charlotte when she was wearing cloths at the last times, she had no more beautiful cloths. She wore tennis shoes.
Look at the last white dress she wore at the Princess Grace foundation, she was stunning

Yesterday, she was elegant even she looked tired and she visited the home of Barbara Sinatra, we like or do not like the dress but it was not fair of some persons who never were carrying twins when the weather is very warm.

Yes, the plain beige and offwhite does absolutely nothing for her.
She could take some ideas from Queen Maxima- also a rather tall woman, and a blonde. Always in electric, daring colors. Maxi definitely found her style years ago. Loud! Hats! Clashing colors! And boy, does she look stunning, but still every inch the Queen. Charlene is still rather "pale" and "washed out".
She has a great figure, a statuesque height, and she could look so much better. Does she have any stylist? If so, he or she does a bad job.
I always notice a great resemblance to the late Princess Di. (when she was very young) Not her late Mother in Law.Charlene looks a lot like Diana. Who also had a unique style that flattered her tall figure.
I think, if you´re tall and blonde (i´m not...) , work it.

I like the beige/yellow hombre a lot. The cut of the dress is fussier than she usually chooses (that neckline has a lot going on).

I think she looks much better than the guy in the wrinkled pants standing next to her.
And yes, it's my pet peeve that we crawl all over the lady and her choices while ignoring how the men turn out. I'm so tired of his navy blazer that I want to toss it on a pile with the Duke of Cambridge's 5 ties and set it ablaze.
Sorry for the rant. I'm calmer now. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Dont love the cowl neckline, but in the third trimester, whatever fits her. I bet she would rather be in yoga pants....

I think we need to take two other factors into account before wanting to compare P Charlene's style to that of Queen Maxima. The first is skin tone. Although both are blonde, Q Maxima has a much darker skin tone and can pull off the loud, strong colours. P Charlene is very fair and the muted softer pastel colours suit her better imo. Secondly, personality. Q Maxima is extroverted and outgoing. P Charlene, on the other hand, is more introverted and reserved. She may not want to draw attention to herself too much by wearing bright and daring colours.

I agree that Q Maxima looks fabulous most of the time as she dresses to her strenths. But so does P Charlene. I agree with moonmaiden that she is the most stylish and elegant of European princesses; her height, slender build and inborn grace contribute to that.

I think P Charlene looked good in the yellow hombre, better in the pastel blue suit. Maybe a slight heel would showcase the yellow/beige better?

I don't like her latest dress. The style, fit and color do nothing for her.

Besides the white evening gown and the blue coat dress, I haven't liked anything she's worn during her pregnancy.

I've never understood why she dropped Armani and took up Akris who IMO doesn't value her...

I actually liked her better in Akris. There are a few Armani outfits that I loved, but most of her Armani outfits didn't impress me. The designer I think really got her was Ralph Lauren. I loved every one of the RL outfits she 's worn. I wish she would let him dress her regularly.

I have to agree with soapstar... But honestly almost every royal woman has made a bad fashion decision when pregnant... Even Kate :-D

I think you are absolutely correct. Her maternity wardrobe has been quite an eye opener. The blue ensemble that looked so wonderul on her, all of the Carolina Herrera outfits were lovely and those pant and tops that almost hid the fact she was pregnant at all. I noticed she wore those when she was "part of something bigger" and saved the best (long white pleated chiffon) for those occasions when she and Albert were the focal point.

To me it showed that Charlene has a very down to earth approach to life and, unlike some of the younger Monaco crew, understands full well that everything is not "all about me". And that is very important to someone in her position and she has styled a maternity wardrobe that accommodates that which is required of her.

I like the dress, but not the way the colours are on it. All the pictures I've seen, my eyes go straight to the yellow skirt/lower portion of the dress, instead of Charlene's face. Maybe if the colours had been flipped w/the yellow on top, it might have worked better, but I doubt it. Pity it wasn't all one colour, as I like Charlene in a cowl neck line, it really softens her face and frames it beautifully IMO and in a single all one colour, I think this would have been a stunning look for her.

That last close up of her face...She really looked tired and worn out. Pity Charlene didn't put on any make up. She really doesn't need an awful lot, but she needed some to balance out just how tired she was looking. Just a wee bit of foundation and some dusky rose or warm brown on her eyelids would make such a difference for Charlene. At least IMO that is.

Princess Charlene at the Prince Albert II of Monaco's Foundation' Award Ceremony in Palm Springs, California, on October 12, 2014, wearing a dress in blue:

** Full view ** Upper part **

Ehm once again I was uninpressed by this choice... If she wants to hide her belly she should do it completely because this dress makes a strange effect...Like she had a dropping ball:ermm:

Charlene is stunning and very elegant I like her dress and we see enough her belly.
