I can't seem to find any pictures of Lars wedding dress designs.
But on his wiki page it says its most likely that he'll design Victorias design. :ermm:

I do think Lars will design the wedding dress for Princess Madeline...

Wow well thats some honour! Great, thanks for the answer :flowers:

I expect CP Victoria to wear a nice and rather simple dress with long sleeves (like the other Crown Princesses before). Something like this or this .

I really don't think black would be an option. It's usually considered the color of mourning, and in days of yore, wearing black to a wedding meant you didn't approve of the marriage. Before Queen Victoria made white popular as the wedding dress color, women usually wore their best dress, in whatever color as long as it wasn't green (because it hid grass stains).I think their dresses will probably be white or ivory. I have a hard time picturing a dress for Victoria because I don't have a handle on her style. But I can see Madeleine in a medival style gown, similar to what was worn by Ps Martha-Louise and CPs Mette-Marie of Norway. I'd also like to see Ps Madeleine wear her Aquamarine tiara but with a new center stone.

Wearing black to a royal wedding would be horrible, the bride wearing black would be even worse.
It's the colour of mourning, and often death.
I remember the outcry when Princess Caroline wore black to Mary and Frederiks wedding in 2004.
Victoria seems a very traditional person, I think she will choose a white dress.

Princess Caroline wore navy blue on the danish wedding

I've seen black worn to weddings before. It's considered a formal color and don't the men wear black tuxedos or morning suits to weddings, so why shouldn't the ladies?

Sometimes brides put their bridesmaids in black esp when the wedding is going to be late in the afternoon into the night. I see no problem wearing black to a wedding as long as it's not the bride doing it.

About the colour black at weddings, I do think this could look very nice if it is teamed up with some cream - for instance a simple black shift dress with a wide bow style belt in cream or a cream jacket. But I'm not sure whether any royal bride would wear black! Still - you never know!!

Here are white AND black ones: http://www.gnetagalten.se/images/00048/0/brudklänning-i-vitt-med-svarta-detaljer.jpg

But I dont think they will fit for a crownprincess (Crownprincesses need long sleeves :))

But I really like the following one. If I was unmarried and in need of a wedding gown I would consider this (but with long sleeves): http://mittfejkadebrollop.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/foreverb_bt_1.jpg

I saw this one (above) in blue too somewhere... and that was v nice

But as I said above: this one is not for a crown princess either :D Long sleeves, long sleeves...and thats as its supposed to be...I said this before and saying it again: a bridal gown is not a ball gown and a church (or in the crownprincess case: Catherdral) is not a ball room...:D

I don't think that the dresses are multicoloured. They will have only one colour.

I can see Crown Princess Victoria wearing something like to this one, but with a longer train :

It's quite simple, but with a "regal" look and decent neckline and sleeves. And to me it looks like a bit Queen Silvia's wedding dress! :D
Just my humble opinion...:flowers:

Maybe Victoria and Daniel could borrow something from Livrustkammaren :D
Gustav III and Sophia Magdalena wore these in 1766 http://lrk.lsh.se/livrustkammaren/Redaktionellt/Global/Bilder/Basbilder/bilagerg3sofiamagdastor.jpg :)

To be honest, Sophia Magdalenas wedding gown is hidious... but Gustav IIIs dress is nice... Imagin Daniel in this: http://lrk.lsh.se/livrustkammaren/Redaktionellt/Global/Bilder/Basbilder/GustavIIIbilager_31255.jpg

or this from 1620 (Gustaf II Adolf - but he was quite big and Daniel is not :))

Actually, there is going to be an exibition at Livrustkammaren named "Bröllop för kung och fosterland" (Wedding for King and Country) from may 20 2010 to October 3 2010. They will show dresses from the royal weddings 1600- 1800

Royalnews.de is guessing that the swedish designer Pär Engsheden will create the wedding dress of Victoria:

This is closest design to how I imagine Victoria will look on her day of days although there will doubtless be a massive train and veil too! Since seeing the visual profile of the wedding on the Swedish Royal House website, I think her gown will be far more grander and classic than I previously imagined.

I’d love to see Madeline in a wedding dress that is more romantic and full and embellished…in a traditional fairytale princess gown. Whereas, I’d like Victoria to wear a gown that is more refined and simple and sophisticated…a striking regal classic.

 hahaha i don´t think we will see Victoria in a dress like this :D
Looks a little Katie Price (UK). In other words, just a little trashy for Victoria. Refined and elegant would be the style she needs.
