Very pretty dress!
I'm so glad she is not wearing those mid-length dresses so much anymore.
She looks great (although the red poppy is a bit jarring).

I love the color...but it doesn't look that well fitted. Not really a fan of these super short dresses with tights.

I think that the fit is fine but that her tunic is not lined and therefore suffers from static cling! Not a good look at an otherwise lovely ensemble. I particularly like the neckline and the button detailing. I have found I don't mind the Autumn/Winter Tunic and tights look as much as I used to. Maybe it's worn me down by sheer dint of numbers.

Catherine looks lovely in this colour and it is nice to see her wearing slightly chunky heeled suede shoes rather than . . . ugh, Booties! Even better, her shortened hair looks a lot more appropriate and well dressed for the occasion. As to the poppy, you'll find most royals sporting something along that line in the lead-up to Remembrance Day.

Yes the waist up (style) is very nice other than the ill fitted look but static cling could be it!

I like the shoe...but so far the short dress with tights has not grown on me!! LOL

I've said it before but it bears repeating: she has great legs. Someone else mentioned she tends to show a bit more leg in maternity wear. I've always believed the hubby enjoys her showing off her legs as well.

Dark tights seem to be a UK and a MM thing. I'm not a huge fan and would have loved to see this with nude hose, but I really like the dress. The smile and the attitude, too. The shoe is good.

And the wave in her hair in this photo really iced my day! http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/...0139069419.jpg. And just look for one tic at her cheekbones in this photo. Awesome beauty.

I think it just reminds me of how little girls used to be dressed (tights and little dresses) and generally I don't find the look a good thing on adult women.

the mulberry colour is great on her, and it's NOT lace; two big ticks from me.

As short as the dress was, nude stockings would not have been a good look. The black tights were essential for this outfit.

With you on the black tights and short skirt Pranter. Never grown on me

But the dress is great. Fantastic color on her. I love the style overall. I really love the button detail at her shoulder.

Static cling and tights aside, she looks great.

The Duchess of Cambridge's Maternity Fashion: December 2012 -

I also like the dress.
Less opaque thights would have been more beautiful IMO.

I would love to see her with straight hair.

Not liking the cut of the dress, but loving the colour!

Nice to see the thicker heel too

I donít get the black tights either must be an English thing. I thought they were a fad but they wonít go away.
