Too much beige for my tastes. A little color would have made it work better IMO.

Too much beige! That outfit needs a bit of colour, either in the shoes or dress (under coat)...Three shades of beige in the one look is too much!

eta; jinx Kelly ;)

The dress and coat do nothing to her. The style is old and ages her, the color is dull and washes her out. If she wished to go for such a look, then brighten it up with accessories, a colored clutch at least IMO.

It's a bit of a tent and still too short an IMO. But she's so radiant with happiness that you can't focus on anything but her smile. Love that bracelet.

Victoria has been wearing tents ever since she announced her pregnancy. Not sure this looks good at such an eary stage, she is supposed to get much bigger.
I dont like the coat, doesnt go well with the dress.

Some women don´t like to wear tight clothes at the beginning of their pregnancy, when they are feeling ill sometimes.

Faboulous, who talked about tents? She looks fantastic. The dress is so beautiful, she has great hairdo and make up.

Beige is not my favourite colour ...but she looks good. Wide smile and looking over the moon!

She can wear as many tents as she wants as long as she is happy. :D

I quite like her dress and the color, she looked good in that piece but the only off part of the overall look is the alien looking hairdo, it just seems weird and old for her.

I like her hair (anything that differs from the ubiquitous ponytail) and the dress gives structure and give a slimming effect over tummy.

Love theruffles love her hair. Don't like the beige on beige but she is so thrilled it hard to say anything about her that is not positive IMO

The Polar Prize dress holds a major surprise - the larger part of the floor-length skirt is actually very transparent:

You could guess it because of the top part is transparent. After hearing the music of the Laureates, I think that Victoria´s dress suited superbly for this event. I get some Egyptian vibes from her hairdo and make up.

I was about to say "fantastic look" but not liking the transparent part at all. At least no tent, thats the good part.

The hairdo is very Farah-Diba-like, quite artificial.

The beige on beige isn't exciting, but at least it doesn't detract from her beaming face. And I LOVE the bracelet.
The blue dress is quite pretty, not a huge fan of the transparency but maybe she didn't know?

Perhaps she sewed it on just before leaving the house because she had heard that people didn't like her short dresses :)

Unless she is pregnant with twins, I will eat my hat, that she is further along than 3 months.

The transparency varies a lot due to the lighting

And the colour varies, it isn´t black, but blue. Her make ups is great.

I love the look. She is "finished" from head to toe, her hair immaculate and her dress elegant and chic. No extraneous jewellery, junk or otherwise. Perfect in fact.

It is a long time since I have seen Victoria so totally comfortable in her own skin. Perhaps the little tents we have been seeing were an economic stopgap to fill in while she organised more elegant but accommodating clothing to carry her through her pregnancy.

While I am not a fan of this particular up do, I love the fact that she put in the effort and it somehow suits the dress with it's flirty little flicker of transparency.

This is very much how I would prefer to see Victoria throughout her pregnancy. Happy, healthy and Très chic!

Burn the Beige Tents!

I do agree. She does look lovely.

Victoria´s dress on Monday was from swedish Mayla.

And today in Gothenburg, again in Mayla.

I love the colour, she looks lovely as always. Maybe she likes to wear loose clothes at these "ordinary" royal duties. The earrings and brooch look so good.

Those shooties are heinous. The dress is a bit too maternity but looks comfy which maybe more important at this stage.

I really like the dark blue of the dress, and the brooch she chose to wear with it.

I really like the dress from today and the brooch is certainly a pretty touch. The shoes are horrendous and I think the hair looks quite messy. But it is easy to forget these things when you see the smile on Victoria's face.

I really like the navy dress and I do like the detailing on it. I would love to see this when she further into her pregnancy as the detailing could also look nice stretched out a bit. I like the coat with baby bump and the belt matched with it. The only fault in the look is the boots, they really must go as they are not elegant at all, they seem bulky for Victoria's ladylike personality.

I agree with you. The shoes have got to go. I don't mind the hair so much, and I absolutely adore her smile. It's always genuine and engaging.

:previous: Really love the coat. Looks elegant.
