In the fall of this year, the memoirs of Prince Andreas of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha were issued in English by publishing-house Eurohistory.
Entitled I Did It My Way, the volume offers the unique reminiscences of a modern-day head of a German ducal house and his extraordinary life: born of the short wartime marriage of Prince Friedrich Josias of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha with Countess Viktoria-Luise zu Solms-Baruth, Prince Andreas was raised by his mother and her American second husband in the United States, before returning to Germany in the 1960s to restore the legacy and fortune of his family.
This fascinating book, filled with many never-before-seen photographs from the Saxe-Coburg & Gotha archive, will be translated into German in early 2016.
