Crown Prince Willem-Alexander as Chairperson of the United Nations Secretary General's Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation has attended the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's "Reinvent the Toilet Fair" competition at the foundation's campus in Seattle, Washington on August 13 and 14, 2012.

The fair showcased innovations in health and sanitation from around the world and was focused on promoting efforts to reinvent the toilet. On August 14 Crown Prince Willem-Alexander has given a speech:

In his role as Chairperson of the United Nations Secretary General's Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation Crown Prince Willem-Alexander has today met with the youth water board directors, a group of 19 young people between 14 and 18 years. They've exchanged thoughts about the water education and management.
