Charles Spencer's statement about his daughter's middle name was very sweet:
"...though it’s been 15 years since Diana died, I still miss her every day, and I very much wanted her commemorated in the naming of our daughter.

My congratulations to the Earl and Countess Spencer on the birth of a healthy baby girl.
However, I am curious about the way the announcement was made seeing as the Daily Mail is the only news outlet with this story. Did the earl invite Katie Nicholl to visit Althrop to do a story on his new daughter?

The previous Lady Diana Spencer was Diana Russell, Duchess of Bedford - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia another somewhat famous lady from her day, at the time gossip was that she would marry Frederick, Prince of Wales , son of George II. It didn't happen of course and they both married other people.

"Diana" has been a Spencer family name for over 300 years. I'm not surprised Earl Spencer thought to remember his sister with his new daughter's middle name. It's what families do. Welcome, Lady Charlotte.

Harry definately took after Charles's side of the family. William looks very much like his mother and uncle.

Diana: A Celebration:
Diana a Celebration Tour Dates | Princess Diana Exhibit Schedule
I wonder why Earl Spencer and other officials of this exhibition haven't made a tour of the major US cities that we know will attrack a great deal of people? Places like New York, Chicago and California.
Why these malls? Which I think isn't appropropriate for someone of Diana's status. This exhibition is about the late Princess of Wales, Once future Queen of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth.
