The actual programme for 7/9 from the CC

Prince Henry of Wales this morning visited Ballymena Ambulance Station, Braid Valley Hospital, Cushendall Road, Ballymena, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Co Antrim (Mrs Joan Christie).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Co-Operation Ireland and met participants in the Amazing Space project and the National Citizen Service programme, 5 Weavers Court Business Park, Linfield Road, Belfast, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Mrs Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle).

Prince Henry of Wales afterwards attended a Garden Party at Hillsborough Castle.

Thank you Cepe. A full programme for Harry, and one that he and those gathered to meet him seem to have thoroughly enjoyed.

Harry at his very best. Interacting with ordinary people - and in a natural way. There are politicians who would gladly sign any contract offered by a horned gentleman, without reading the small print, in order to have that skill.

He is worth gold in that respect. Because every single one in that crowd now has a positive view of Harry, and that reflects on the BRF. - And they are going to tell everyone.

The young lady in red looked like she was overlooked. Perhaps she considered snatching... eeh... I mean borrowing a child? :D

Yes he sure does have that skill. Wonderful ability to connect with people

Loved seeing the pictures of Prince Harry work his magic on the people, he sure does have a way about him and that smile says it all. Love this red head prince....what a cutie he is!

He seems very natural and charming with people.

Prince Harry visited the Chatham Green Project, a conservation, education and sustainability initiative at the Wilderness Foundation in Essex. A key part of the Chatham Green Project is the education programme which aims to educate over 3,000 pupils each year to value the countryside and take action to protect it and our wider environment. Prince Harry imparted some wisdom about not bottling up anger to some of the schools kids he met.

He's got a busy October doesn't he. More to come!

Yes, Harry's a busy boy. Canada last month, Queen Daisy and members of her family, followed by the Obamas, this month. He and both the Obamas seem to have a very warm friendship going and I'm sure Harry is honoured by the invitation.

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry to attend the Coach Core Graduation
London Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Wednesday 18th October 2017

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry will visit West Ham United’s London Stadium to attend the graduation ceremony for more than 150 Coach Core apprentices. This apprenticeship programme improves the availability and quality of sports coaching, creating a solid career path, and increasing the confidence and the belief of young people in their ability to achieve.

Apprentices will be attending the ceremony from seven different areas where Coach Core operates (London, Glasgow, Essex, Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, and South Wales), with those graduating from London, Glasgow, Wales and Essex. Ahead of the ceremony Their Royal Highnesses will have the opportunity to watch some practical sessions in action, where they will see a number of different sports being played.
Also attending the event will be partners and key supporters of the Coach Core programme. The Duke and Prince Harry will attend a reception at the stadium to meet with some of the key figures who have helped to deliver the programme, as well as hearing about future plans for Coach Core.

The graduation ceremony will then begin pitchside at London Stadium, and will include speeches from the Chairman of Coach Core Ed Wray, and Karren Brady the Vice-Chairman of West Ham United. Their Royal Highnesses will take to the stage and congratulate the 2017 graduates, inviting them on stage to mark their official graduation from Coach Core.

Earlier in the day a number of professional sports players will take part in a Q&A session with the apprentices attending to discuss the impact sports and coaching has had on their lives. The Coach Core apprenticeship scheme was designed by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry to take young people aged 16 to 24 with limited opportunities, and train them to be sports coaches and positive role models and mentors in their communities.

The apprentices learn technical sport skills alongside an inclusive and holistic approach to coaching, with an emphasis on employability and mentoring skills. Coach Core is proud to have transformed the lives of its apprentices with 98 per cent of its graduates now being in full-time employment or education, and 80 per cent retain strong ties with their employers and continue to engage in community sport.

They are having the summit on Halloween? That's unusual. I bet there were be candy and stuff. I wonder if Harry will jet off to see Meghan afterward.

Probably not. Adding personal trips onto official visits is not allowed. He got into trouble about this once before, as have other royals.

Of course, she could visit him ;)

Is he booked up yet for November?

LaRae

I would imagine that he's slated to attend a certain party's 70th anniversary service of thanksgiving on November 20th :D

Well I wasn't gonna count family events! That's kinda a given!

9th November for Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey.

Thanks cepe! Do we know if the Cambridges are still going to Scandanavia in November?
