I was thinking the same thing! I think her hair is darker and I love it. Looks a little longer too, obviously!

She looks a bit tired to me but she also looks amazing!
That's what I was thinking, but the darker hair also makes the skin look more pale which might add a bit to the natural tiredness. Hope the music was loud enough to keep her awake;)

These are lovely pictures. Actually I think she's gained a little weight which looks good.

Mary does look good after just having a baby. And I think that we are all in agreement about her hair being darker. Love the skirt & jacket, but I'm not so sure that I like them together?!?

Things seem a bit strained between them. Both their smiles are forced. They are always looking in opposite directions. They do not stand or walk close together like they normally do. I wonder if there is tension from lack of sleep? Who knows. Just my observations. But aside from Mary looking very tired, she does look very pretty. And Fred....well he looks like Fred!

I agree-some weight has gone to her face which makes her look healthy, beautiful and radient. Actually she looks better with a little more weight on and well proportioned.

Mary is very radiant and happy..she has gained some weight and thats perfect for her..she looks better and pretty:)

I saw the same thing sesa. I dont want to start rumours or anything. They probably are tired or just had an argument. It was just looking at the pics of them walking side by side that they looked uncomfortable next to each other. The stress of first time parenting must be getting to them.

Sesa & "PJ15"

I dont understand why indaviduals state "observations" like the ones you both have when you know all to well (and dont say you dont) that these comments are prone to start rumours and are just, rediculous.

"PJ25" to say that "I dont want to start rumours or anything" is exactly what you are doing and you know it.

"MII"

I know it starts rumours thats why I put that in to at least try to stop it. I love to people watch and see how they interact. I love to observe peoples actions and see how they act and what they do. It was just an observation, the same in how people say she has retained some pregnancy weight and that her hair is darker. I missed Mary and Im glad shes back. They just looked uncomfortable. They actually looked like normal first time parents going through the rough times of parenting and marriage.

When I first saw these pics, I thought happy and relaxed. They're both looking at the same thing and laughing.

Just goes to show that different people see the same picture and interpret it differently.

Thanks for all the beautiful pictures . CP Fred and CPs Mary looked great! A lovely couple indeed-happy, relaxed, smiling and laughing at each other. Understandably being new parents, they looked a little tired but very happy indeed. It was great of them to participate in this worthwhile cause .:)

Even if she was tired, its perfectly normal, the princess isnt wonder-woman! lol

ysbel i agree with you, they did look happy and relaxed and it shows how different people can interpret things differently from the same picture. I guess thats why we are all individuals! :)

It's so funny how people interpert different things from the same photo!

Does anyone know if there are any more apperances scheduled for Fred and Mary before the baby's christening?

Thanks! :) :D

We can because it's a free world and we have freedom of speech. An observation is just that. an observation. Nothing is meant by it. It is not meant to attack or be malicious.

"PJ25" to say that "I dont want to start rumours or anything" is exactly what you are doing and you know it.

Rumors are started by people that are jealous or mean. they are meant to inflict hurt and pain. So it is unfair of you to criticize a person based on an observation that was obviously not meant to be a rumor. And to "tell" them that is what they meant, when, again, it was obviously stated otherwise, is not being very fair. I'm sure if that is what either I or PJ25 had in mind, it would have been "worded" much differently to make it sound like a "statement" rather than a personal observation.
So let's not attack each other for any reason. Okay? :)
Oh! And Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!

Whether or not gossip is meant to hurt, that is not the point. The point is, that more times than not, gossip does hurt someone and the people who are hurt are never around to defend themselves. And, how anyone can determine by simply looking at pictures that two people have had an argument is beyond my comprehension. And some day, you may learn that there is a price to pay for freedom of speech if someone faces a lawsuit for spreading false rumours.

I was just trying to help out another poster by explaing the differance between rumors and observations. Nothing more. I personally did not mention anything about them having an argument. (see post #122). And personally, I do not spread rumors and/or gossip. I myself have been a victim of rumors in my youth and I remember quite clearly how I felt. Therefore, I do not do this.
As for having to pay the price, so to speak, for freedom of speech, this would only be if something was said with malicious intent to harm or demean another persons character. Anything else would be considered a frivilous law suit and would not stand a chance in the court of law. So given that I stated "my observation" and I did not spread a malicious or demeaning rumor and/or gossip, I have no worries in this regard.
But, alas, I have learned another valuble lesson today, and that is: I will not try and help explain someone else's words, no matter how clear they may be. I will only defend and explain my own words. So for that "I THANK YOU"

Thank you for that interesting response.

I must say that I agree with Mandy 110%

Um....I was not attacking your right to freedom of speech, I was stating that the observations made are ones prone to start rumours.

I do apologise if this has caused you undue stress or anxiety.

There are some photos of the event not shown here which show a very happy Frederik and Mary at this event...there are also some video clips as well. After seeing these pics and videos, anyone can see that there's no tension or unhappiness between them! In addition, when Mary and Frederik arrived, they were being escorted by their hosts into the event, so they could not walk side by side. They left the event walking side by side and were very happy! There are some photos of Frederik and Mary looking at each other and there's no tension or unhappiness! I have not made these comments to target anyone and if anybody feels that way, then I apologize. But we have to bear in mind that we do not always see all of the photos from an event to get a true picture of someone's demeanor and appearance! I have posted a link at the end of this message where additional photos and video clips can be seen. Feel free to register (a very simple process)!

Sesa, I was not responding just to your post, but to several comments that had already been expressed. I'm sorry if you took it personally. It is a wise decision to only defend our own position since we cannot read anyone else's mind. :)

Knights in shining armour are a thing of the long past. However, when did defending someones honour or reputation ever become something to ridicule??

I feel, it's an honourable trait.:)

Thankyou for the link. It is a great board and I am also a member there as would be many from this forum. Mary looks stunning in dark clothes and I think her hair is definately darker. It looks great darker. Speaking like a real commoner, "she is a stunner".

I don't mind the pale faced look (is it Gothic??) it suits Mary when it is appropriate. Maybe it's just the contrast between her skin and the dark clothing which makes her look pale. I like her no matter how she looks.

I agree that everyone needs to be careful when posting any comments and that we all need to think before we speak and I mean NO OFFENSE BY THIS WHATSOEVER, but I find it hard to believe that one comment by one person on this thread is going to spark a fury that the relationship of the crown prince and princess is in trouble. I just don't see that anything any of us say is that important.

I don't mean to 'beat a dead horse' and I don't want to argue with anyone, these are just my opinions and I wanted to share.

Didnt know I would cause such trouble. I was just stating an observation. I have always liked Mary. I guess she just seemed overbearing and arrogant to me there. I was probably seeing a side of her that her dislikers see. I still like her but she I just saw something different. I still like them and I never said there marriage was in trouble. That they look like a real married couple with real problems who are exhausted. Its nice to know my words carry such significance. Now back on topic. Her hair didnt seem darker to me. I think its just the lighting. Does anybody know the next time the will attend a gala or formal event. I would love to see what new dresses she will wear.

Not to criticize Mary...who I think is doing a fantastic job...but I hardly think going to a couple of events is overdoing it. As someone previously mentioned..there are tons of women world wide who go back to work within six weeks..and they are working 30 to 40 hours a week. She is a bright beautiful women..she wouldn't over do it.

I agree Zonk,

HRH the Crown Princess would not have resumed public duty if she thought it to much. Mary is most capable, of this I am sure!
