Yes, it is Princess Máxima and her youngest daughter Princess Alexia.
According to De Telegraaf (see article) there was some excitement in front of the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague: the municipality has placed fences around the hospital. And cars with AA-numberplates have been seen around the hospital.
The Rijksvoorlichtingsdienst denied that the fences were ordered by the Royal House. The municipality of The Hague stated that the fences in front of the hospital have nothing to do with the royal family.
----
AA-numberplates are exclusively used by the Royal Household Services.

I've seen the picture and I also think it's Alexia. The little one is walking good but in an unsure manner, IMO. She doesn't seem quite as sure on her feet as Amalia does. But Amalia is older so that's to be expected. But little Alexia has definitely changed. From a far like this she's resembling her older sister more and more.

I still think that this baby will arrive within the next two weeks. I'm glad that the family could enjoy a nice springtime outing together.

Gorgeous pic! On the web-log it says that it is Alexia in the photo Maxima looks quite ready to give birth, maybe this week? The fences at the hospital are a good give-away to the anticipated birth date

Why did ANP have to remove the pictures?

I can't believe Maxima is still able to walk around let alone stand. She looks like she is about to give birth any second now!

The pictures are in breach with article 3 of the Media Code Royal House:
Article 3
The private lives of members of the Royal House will be respected; that is, they may be confident of being left in peace at times when they are not appearing publicly in one of their official positions. This provision therefore also applies to the members of the Royal House who are still minors (up to and including their years at school and any further periods of education).
The picture was offered to ANP who placed it in their image-bank. But after a call they immediately removed it.

Beautiful picture of Maxima and Alexia.
Quick question, because I've not long taken an interest in the Dutch royals, can somebody tell me, when the new baby is born will the name be released straight away or do the couple tend keep it quiet for a while?
Thanks

The name is generally released within 3 days officially, but as has happened the last few times, the name was "leaked" slighly before the official ceremony in the "gemeentehuis" or city hall.

The two previous times the baby was born on a Sunday and the names were announced on Tuesday:
that was when the Prince registered his daughters at the City Hall.

their attendance is needed for the registration of a successor to the throne.

I agree Máxima looks very big, but springlike with her green coat and happy and lovely. Alexia is getting so big and cute. I hope for a picture of all three children with their parents when the new baby is there. Alexia's hair is really growing long, but of course, she is not a baby anymore.

They wait 3 days (Within 3 days a baby has to be 'reported' to the state)
