While Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla attended a ceremony at the
British Australian cemetery of Fromelles, northern France on the 94th
anniversary of the World War I battle of Fromelles, the Duke of Kent
named a Eurostar train 'Remembering Fromelles', at St Pancras station
in central London, July 19, 2010.

How wonderful that two sets of royals were doing things to commemerate the event.

A little addition: In the meantime I've found out that the Duke did
not only attend the naming ceremony in London, he also travelled
to France after that and attended the ceremony in his role as
president of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The only
thing I am wondering about is if he used that same train, that would
of course be kind of logical, on the other hand I wonder if there was
enough time for a journey by train..

I suspect it was the same train.

Would you know how Charles & Camilla mayhave travelled to France?

It's so nice to see her "out and about." She's looking more well than she has on other appearances in recent years. Perhaps her time out of the public eye has been refreshing for her.:flowers:

Copy that. I thought she was finished and just wished to retire.

I just wish Lady Helen could perform some royal duties like her father,, she's a beautiful graceful woman. :) Nevertheless the Duke of Kent knows his job well. He seems very active and committed.

Yahoo in the US is reporting that the Duchess of Kent will be attending the wedding with the Duke. Besides this report has anyone else heard this?
It will be wonderful to see this lovely, regal lady with the family.
