Institution, visited the Sheringham lifeboat station on March
25, 2010.
He was introduced to volunteers and given a demonstration
of the Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat.

A sickness bug has meant a Royal visit to a north Norfolk care home has been postponed.

But the Duke of Kent, who was to open the £7m re-build of the Royal British Legion's Halsey House in Cromer tomorrow , will still be opening the new Sheringham Museum building.

Circuit, Towcester, Northamptonshire today, July 11, 2010.

British Australian cemetery of Fromelles, northern France on the 94th
anniversary of the World War I battle of Fromelles, the Duke of Kent
named a Eurostar train 'Remembering Fromelles', at St Pancras station
in central London, July 19, 2010.

A little addition: In the meantime I've found out that the Duke did
not only attend the naming ceremony in London, he also travelled
to France after that and attended the ceremony in his role as
president of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The only
thing I am wondering about is if he used that same train, that would
of course be kind of logical, on the other hand I wonder if there was
enough time for a journey by train..

Force, has attended a ceremony in the City of London to mark the 70th
anniversary of the Blitz, 7 September 2010.

It's a poignant point that the Duke's father was killed in a flying accident during the war, although not during the Battle of Britain. It's fitting that this present Duke holds the honourary rank that he does and is able to attend these occasions.
