Ugh Frederiks suit photographs terrible, I get dizzy just looking at the pictures. I think Madeleine looks wonderful, more mature and less Östermalms babe thankfully. I dont know why she insists on the scarfs, but whatever makes her happy,. Silvia and Victoria (sans the ponytail and glases) also looks good. I even like Margrethes suit and I hardly ever like her day wear.

I think this is, because it was raining and the lenses were wet. This seems to be a typical Fotomarktplatz-problem. They had this before...but: don´t look a gift horse in the mouth...
I especially like the picture of Constantine and Désirée. It´s a real pic of heartiness. In the other pics it seems, as if the particular "nuclear families" stayed together and didn´t mingle with their relatives.
I wonder, how Victoria and Mary get along. I had the feeling between Victoria and Mette Marit there was at once a special relationship (I refer on the pics from Luxembourg in 2001). I can´t see that between Mary and Victoria. But maybe it´s just, because I can only judge a few pics...

Thank you Lena for the Fotomarktplatz pictures. :)
And an extra special thank you Yennie for her personal pictures and her stories from her true royal watching experience today! :)
In some of the pictures I am starting to see a teeny bump for the first time in Mary. There is one picture where it looks like her shirt is billowing out a bit (and not from wind) so that there is a wee small bump there. ... Or maybe I am just tired and seeing things! It may be a bit early or it might've just been deceiving because of all the layers she was wearing.

I got that feeling, too, Lena. The Swedish siblings seemed to stick together and laugh a lot together whie Margrethe and Mary (and of course Mary with Frederik) seemed to be pictured a lot. I did not see many pictures even of Margrethe with Anne Marie -- but of course I didn't get to see it in video footage, just what is here.

I wonder, too. I have not see many pictures of them that made me think that there was a warmer relationship. Victoria does however seem to have (from pictures of course) a warmer relationship and interaction with Mette-Marit and with Letizia (I noticed that during Letizia's recent visit to Sweden).

Am I missing something here? Where can I find these pictures of Mary and Victoria interacting? Is is perhaps this picture? That's the only one I found of Mary and Victoria together. It's a little difficult to gauge the warmth of their encounter when they are standing that far apart.

Thanks for the wonderful photos, Yennie. You are a gem. A real find for such an event. Thanks for all of your hard work and for putting up with the rainy weather too. Thanks for the photos, Lena. Everybody looks great except for Frederik but that may not be his fault. :)

Thank you Lena, for all the photos!
Its fun to see all the royals together like this, and it looks like they had fun!
Yesterday everything went so fast that I barely had time to think about who I was seeing :)
It feels so weird to see photos here and knowing that I saw them irl yesterday. Very surreal haha
Hopefully the magazines have lots of coverage on this next week!
btw, when I was waiting outside of the hotel yesterday, "royal photographer" Charles Hammarsten stood beside me. You know the one who took all the photos in the book "Victoria, Kronprinsessa av Sverige" published in the summer of 1995?
He´s not just a great photographer, he was very nice aswell :)

The royals had a bit of bad luck yesterday :)
When they were on the train travelling through Skåne, the ran out of water and they were stranded for about an hour outside of Teckomatorp. The fire department had to be called to fillup the tank and after that the train could continue back to Helsingborg
So thats why they were so late to the hotel....

I wonder, if all Royals changed their clothes for the dinner on the Dannebrog

That´s exactly the point! There was no special protocol, which said that Victoria isn´t allowed to talk to Mary and vice versa Also when Victoria was in Denmark in April I couldn´t see any interaction between the two Royal ladies...and that´s why I´ve wondered. But as I´ve said, I just can judge pictures...maybe Mary and Victoria had a good time, when Victoria stayed in Fredensborg overnight.

Sorry if this was asked before, but where were Pavlos and Marie-Chantal? I've only seen Nikolaos and Theodora...

Here´s a photo of Madeleine on Dannebrog. It was very windy and she was very close to having a "Marilyn Monroe situation" :)
Look how cute Carl Philip looks holding his sisters purse!
I havnt seen many photos from the dinner...? Are there any more?

Why do you know, that it´s not his purse? :p
Some pics from Expressen (I think the ones on the danish Royals arriving were posted before)

The old couple in the last pic is count Carl Johan (the last living child of king Gustaf Adolf) and his wife Gunilla
