Juan Carlos and Felipe at some kind of sailing event. Even though they aren't in the pictures together I'm posting them here because it is the same event. They seem to be on diffrent crews. Pics from Seeger Press.

Thank you, Marezdote.
Indeed, KJC and Felipe are both participating, as usually happens, in the Queen's Cup, in Valencia.
This is the first competion in which King Kuan Carlos is sailing with his new Bribón, a new formula 1 of the seas, which costed 1000000 €.

The Royal Family’s fondness of sailing makes the sovereigns appear with certain assiduity in Valencia. Yesterday, at 7:40 p.m., Don Juan Carlos arrived at the heliport of the Nautical Club, to enjoy an entirely private and sporty weekend.

The presence of the Prince de Asturias was also expected, and it was even rumoured that Doña Letizia would also enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere, although we could not see the family picture after all, and will be necessary to wait until today, to see them together, on board of their respective boats, to support and to compete in the Queen Cup Sailing Trophy.

http://www.lasprovincias.es/valencia/pg050701/prensa/noticias/Deportes/200507/01/VAL-SUB-219.html

For the first time in seven editions of the Queen’s Cup Sailing Trophy, Doña Sofia will not be able to give the cup to the winner, as she will not be at the Nautical Club of Valencia on Sunday. The reason is that she will fly to Singapur, in order to support Madrid’s candidacy to the Olympics 2012.

Next to her, also Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarín (who is the vice-president of the Spanish Olympic Committee) are expected to travel.

The King shall thus be the only representative of the Royal House at the prize-giving ceremony of the Trophies.

There are photos in seegerpress of the King and the Prince in the ditches, but there is none of Letizia, so probably she has not gone. Normal debit be a bit boring to be looking while they compete, besides other times the Queen is and company is done, but this time does not.

With total authority, the Leche Pascual, captained by Vasco Vascotto, won the Queen’s Cup, in the category Transpac 52. King Juan Carlos’ Bribón was the third, while Prince Felipe, on board of the Aifos, ended the competition at the last position.

More pics of the regatta. From Seeger Press. More to come.

Thank you very much for all these wonderful photos, Marezdote!
So lovely! :)

Pitty that Letizia won't attend it... but at least it's a glittering event :)
Anyway, we'll see the whole family on Thursday, at the Baptism of Irene.

Yes, how do you know it? It will be gala-dinner, with beautiful dresses and tiaras?

Yes, how do you know it? Is it certain, that Letizia won't attend? Pity... Maybe she doesn't have any gala-dress for mum-to-be:D

According to Casa Real, the gala will be hosted only by KJuan Carlos, Queen Sofia and Prince Felipe... Let us hope they change it on the last minute ;)
