Prince of Asturias with president Escuela of China-Europe Businesses

Prince of Asturias received today, in the Palace of the Zarzuela, to professor Liu Ji, honorary president of the School Chinese Internacional of Negocios Europe (CEIBS), with seat in Shangai. Liu Ji, that is in Spain invited by the House of Asia, knew Don Felipe in China, when the Heir of Corona traveled to that Asian country in 2000, in the occasion of the inauguration of ' Expohabitat'.
The Prince saluted today to the Chinese professor in hall hearings, where he talked with him. Liu Ji was in the Palace of the Zarzuela accompanied by the president of CEIBS, Pedro Nueno, the professor of the IESE and dean of the school of Shangai from 2002 to 2004, Alfredo Shepherd and of representatives of the embassy of China in Madrid. CEIBS, that was created in 1994 by the European Union and the People's Republic of China, is the more prestigious School of Businesses of Asia, and number thirteen at world-wide level.
Two years ago Don Felipe it received 110 students of the School.

Next Monday, the 19th of December, the Young Choir will travel to Madrid to act, at 20:00, in the chapel of the Royal Palace in the traditional concert of Christmas that National wealth offers to its personnel. The digest that they will interpret for the occasion will include between others, the following Christmas carols: divine Weeping, of Ángel Émbil; Child God of love wounded, of Francisco Guerrero;Le soulmeil de l´enfant Jesus , of F.A. Gevaert and Child Jesus, of Dimitry Bortnjansky. The program will assemble also pieces of the Song-books of Palace and of Upsala, as well as popular Spanish and European songs.

The Prince is present at the Concert of Christmas in the Royal Palace

Don Felipe presided today in the Royal Palace of Madrid at the concert of Christmas that there offered the Young Choir of the Foundation Prince of Asturias, who interpreted popular anonymous works and of different song-books as that of Palace or that of Upsala.
The concert of Christmas is celebrated every year for the personnel of the Royal Palace and of National wealth.
It takes place in the chapel that dates back of the XVIIIth century, and that is adorned by a paint of the Coronation of the Virgin, Corrado Giacuinto's work.
Don Felipe was present at the concert from the first row of banks, accompanied of the director of the Foundation Prince of Asturias, Graciano García, and of the president of National wealth, Yago Pico de Coaña.
The canopy, the armchairs and the couch, work of the embroiderer of Chamber Antonio Gonzalez of the Rivers of the epoch of Fernando VI, which occupy a place emphasized in the temple, are reserved for the Kings.
The concert began with ' Dindirin, dindirin ', anonymous composition of the Song-book of Palace, to which they followed other songs of Juan de la Encina, of Francisco Guerrero, of the Song-book of Upsala, of Angel Embil or of Jose Antonio Prieto.
The Young Choir of the Foundation Prince of Asturias included in the digest other works of French, English, Austrian, German and Russian authors.

The Prince of Asturias receives representatives of the University of Zaragoza

ZARAGOZA, 20 Dic. (EUROPE PRESS)-

His Royal Highness the Prince of Asturias has received this morning to the members of the Team of the University of Zaragoza that he turned out to be a winner of the sixth summons of the National League of University Debate.

The team was formed by Yago of Marten (trainer and captain), Ramon Celma, Francisco Echeverría, Cristina Gómez Navarro, BlancaJiménez Alsina and Antonio Ortego, students of the Faculty of Law, as they inform sources of the academic institution.

The delegation of the University of Zaragoza is headed by the rector, Philip Pétriz, and the dean of the Faculty of Law, Jose Maria Gimeno, forming a part of it members of teams, as well as the president of the Council of Students, Javier Monserrat.

"El Quijote" is the most important book written in Spanish language and his author Miguel de Cervantes one of the most important writers. The Institute that the Spanish spreads in the world and that has centers in many countries (which opens the Princes of Asturias realize) calls " Institute Cervantes ". This year fulfills the centenary IV of the work, and in Spain it has been the most important cultural event . The King Juan Carlos began this series of readings and during the whole year they it have read some of the most important personalities of Spain and many writers famous in Spanish. "El Quijote" is a universal book that has been translated into hundreds of languages.
