Infanta Elena and Don Jaime de Marichalar, the Dukes of Lugo, will inaugurate next Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m., the exhibition La Rioja: Tierra Abierta. Nájera Legado Medieval, organized by the Government of La Rioja and the Caja Rioja Foundation.

The Dukes punctually arrived at 11 a.m., and under strict security measures, and they were awaited by the authorities, as well as a great number of people. The Infanta, who was very thin, was dressed in a cream pant suit, with combined shoes and purse in toasted colours. Don Jaime, on the other hand, was dressed in a dark suit of classic cut, with a tie with blue, red and white stripes.

During the exhibition, Doña Elena was especially interested in some jewels that once belonged to her ancestors, as well as the choir (already visited by Queen Sofia, before the restoration) and the Codex 31, which she asked to touch.

After more than a hour of tour, the Dukes signed in Honour Book of the exhibition. Later, there was served a light meal, and they were able to taste, among other things, the tejas a la parmesana, which especially pleased Don Jaime.

Around 1 p.m., Doña Elena and Don Jaime left the Monastery, and were greeted by hundreds of people, who waited the Duques. Then, they entered a black Mercedes that took them to the helicopter.

Infanta Elena with her daughter, Victoria Federica, arrive at home, after the official announcement of Princess Letizia's pregnancy. Later, her husband, Jaime de Marichalar, and his son, Felipe Froilán, arrived as well. No one spoke to the press.

she really likes to riding a horse. Why she doesn't go to other contests in the european countries. In Portugal we have lots of horse contest?
