I have to say, I'm not very impressed with Grimaldi tiaras. At least the ones I have seen.

Here is Charlotte Casiraghi wearing an interesting piece. Could it be an heirloom vis-a-vis Mama? The other possibility is that it is something given to her by the Gucci people, since everything she wears to the equestrian events now is from Gucci.

I highly doubt that is from her mother's collection because it's costume jewelry, not real at all. And it's not highly unlikely that Charlotte would wear something that extravagant to a horse show. She doesn't even wear extravagant pieces to gala events.

I guess, that we may see some of Grace´s jewels soon again -- on the head or around the neck of Charlene, as soon as she is the new Princess of Monaco. And I can´t wait for it to see them again. Just curious to see, what will happen to the jewels, which went to Caroline.... hope they will stay with the "reigning" Family, i.e. Albert and his siblings.

I have a feeling that I have seen a picture of Caroline wearing the cameo - but I can't remember where. Does anyone know? It's wonderful to get a glimpse of it again.

Caroline doesn't need her mother's jewels, she has her grandmother's. Princess Charlotte did not approve of Grace, and left all her personal tiaras and jewels to her granddaughter instead. All the beautiful jewels and tiaras we see her in, are Charlotte's.

I don't know if it is true Caroline sold her mother's. I'd think knowing Caroline had her grandmother's, Grace's personal tiaras and jewels would likely be left for Albert's wife, and likely a few pieces to Stephanie.

We don't know Caroline even sold the jewels. The OP has shown no articles proving she sold them. I did a search and could find none. The only mention was that some of Grace's jewels and dresses were on displace with Sothesby's some years back, but as a display not for sale, to raise money for the Princess Grace foundation's 25th anniversary.

Common sense, Grace has three children. Charlotte died before Grace. Charlotte left a fortune in jewels to her granddaughter Caroline. It stands to reason Grace left her personal jewels to Stephanie, and to Albert for his future wife. She likely left the most to Albert, as his wife would be the next princess of Monaco. Now he is marrying Charlene, I wouldn't doubt we will see them come out of retirement.

As for reading in a book, look about all the lies about Diana in books. Books are speculation, rumor and gossip.

Charlene won't happen. I don't see Caroline giving up a tiara she owns. Princess Charlotte's tiaras are not Albert's to give his wife, they belong to his sister.

She may have got a few personal pieces, or the broach may have been given to Charlotte by her Uncle for all we know. But the likelyhood if Caroline had all her grandmother's jewels, is Grace would leave hers to her son and other daughter. Albert's wife will be princess, and with Charlotte's jewels out of the question, Grace would want her future daughter in law to have something I'd assume.

Grace left her jewels to Caroline, not Stephanie. Rainier inherited all of Charlotte's jewels and those also ended up with Caroline after Grace's death.

Stephanie has no interest in jewels, so Caroline has worn them. I'm sure Charlene will have plenty of new jewels to wear as Albert is a billionaire who can afford to buy her all the jewels she wants.

Okay so where is the proof? I assume you have seen a will. I have seen numerous sources that said Caroline was given Charlotte's jewels directly by her grandmother. Just because Stephanie doesn't wear any of them, doesn't mean she may not have inherited some pieces from her mother. And it would be surprising if all of the tiaras from Charlotte went to Caroline, if Grace didn't leave a few to her son for his future bride.

But if not, then it is just following pattern. The jewels of the former princess left to another family member, Charlotte to Caroline either direct or indirectly as you believe, and Grace to Caroline as you assume. So as Rainier had to provide all Grace's jewels, other than those which were gifts, Albert will have to buy new ones for his bride. I guess it could be a Monaco tradition.

I saw a picture of Caroline wearing the cameo brooch in a Majesty Magazine article about Caroline's 50th birthday. I believe the photo was taken during the Queen's state visit to Germany sometime in the 2000s. She was wearing a brown long-sleeved gown that buttoned bown the front and had a belt.

But you also offer no 'proof' that Caroline was not left Grace's jewels- if they belong to the crown sure they'd pass to PA and his wife but I am sure Grace had some personal pieces ..... and why wouldn't Caroline share her pieces with her siblings and daughter? I am just saying it's possible and we don't really know for sure, obviously people have read different things about it
