Yes, I seem to recall that there are photos of Margarethe wearing it as well too.

What a beautiful brooch and a wonderful gift to be given, how lovely of QM to give the brooch to Princess Mary if this is the case.
Can anyone help to point me in the right direction as to where there are photos of the brooch being worn by either QM or Queen Ingrid's mother or Queen Ingrid herself if she wore it.

Marfre, at the Royal Jewels Message Board, they are right now discussing this beautiful brooch as well, and Tamara has posted a picture - Royal Jewels of the World Message Board: Re: Crown Princess Mary wears Crown Princess Margareta's brooch - of queen Ingrid, queen Margrethe and CP Mary all wearing the brooch

UserDane thank you so much, what a glorious piece, it was great to see the three beautiful ladies wearing it.
Was Queen Ingrid given the brooch as gift or perhaps was it pass on to her from her family?

You're all welcome
Marfre, I think I have read somewhere that queen Ingrid inherited it from her mother, but right now I can't find the information. Will try to search some more.

I thought that they had a blue tint to them. I can't remember seeing them before. Aquamarines? So, that would make these Mary's third pair of aquamarine earrings, I think . I guess that she is a fan of the stone.

Mary usually has impeccable taste however, this time she has, to put it mildly, come a cropper!
The balance is all off, I think because she chose to have her hair down her neck, that fabulous choker around her neck and those enormous aquamarine earrings hanging over the choker.
The hairstyle is not flattering and the tiara fades into insignificance with the serious hardware below!
Below the choker there is this big empty space and above it looks like her "Jewels are Us" got nuked! Too much! Way, way too much!

For separate, the jewells are all wonderful. I especially like the earrings: stunning

I thought Mary did a nice job of looking like she has more jewelry. s I don't remember her wearing these earrings with this choker. ( I think she has some smaller aquamarine earrings) If a princess can't Jewel it up who can?

What a clear closeup of the aquamarine choker! I never before realized that it also has a number of sapphires in it. But I think it doesn't go well with the tiara (or better: the tiara doesn't go well with the choker).

I like all of the jewelry that she is wearing, but I think that the large earrings take away from the tiara, especially when paired with the choker. I really don't mind the idea of wearing so many pieces of jewelry together considering the engagement. But, I would have preferred to have seen her wearing these earrings with the tiara and necklace.

I know that she's worn it together before, but I think that it makes for a better pairing.
