Toytown tore, for a second time, the tendon in his lower leg. I am shocked and delighted to see him make a comeback to this level of competition, especially at age 17!

Pics 19.4.2009

Great finding, Skydragon, thanks a lot for posting!
I like all those pics ( except maybe the second one),
the colours are nice and they have a kind of magical
atmosphere..

A horse rider has been killed at an event where Zara Phillips competed.
Ian Olding, an Irish international cross country rider, died while competing in the Belton Horse Trials yesterday morning

Goodness, when I think of some of the old horseboxes my horses and I have traveled in. It is clearly marked with the RBS logo, so it could be that Ambrose are minor sponsors, (just the super dooper box perhaps)?

As a full-time sportswoman, following fashion is the last thing on Zara Phillips's agenda.
But stepping out at a poker tournament in Monaco last night, the royal horsewoman was bang on trend by combining four fads.

It was a terrible camera angle on the Mails' first photo, Zara looked at least a stone heavier than the rest of the photos.

The colour of her dress may have been purple but there was little else Royal about this racy outfit worn by Zara Phillips

Love the colour, Royal purple. Particularly enjoy the third picture, of her leaning to the right, or my right.

She looked very glamorous! Did she play poker, or was she just spectating?

At Zara's level, she is absolutely entitled to the endorsements. She's not keeping 12 horses on prize money won. It is complely normal for someone who has won as many major events to have a major sponsor such as Land Rover/Hermes/Rolex/Loro Piano. She certainly earned it.

I agree. Royal connections aside, she is a very talented equestrienne, and anyone who is at her level in the sport would have a sponsor. She enters these events just as anyone else would, so she should be treated like her peers in the field.

I don't think they are questioning her undoubted ability as a rider, what they seem to be suggesting is that she would not have secured these deals, if not for the subtle use of her connection to the royals. i.e. Would she have received such sponsorship if she had been Zara Philips from Brighton?
