Victoria said to SVT News: "I see these hikes as a possibility to travel and see beautiful places, and hopefully also remind other people about all the beautiful we have. The purpose of these hikes is to get people see for this nature and all the possibilities we have, to enjoy about the Right of Public Access. To really go out to our land and enjoy".

Victoria said to Sveriges Radio that this is a great day at work. The reporter asked what Victoria hoped to see? Victoria said: I don't know what we can expect today but it has obviously been a good day to see many geese. Victoria said also that she wanted to learn things from the children.

One thing is ready. When the day at Tinnerö had ended, the Crown Princess was dirtier and mudier than when she started. She wandered over stock and stone, crawled in a tunnel, orientated on muddy trails and drove mountainbike and also responded to many questions.
- Would people recognize you in whatever country you went to? In Norway, of course, but in China? a young man wanted to know.
- "People recognize me in every possible place", said Victoria. People are surprised.
Many children from different parts of Linköping are companions for the Crown Princess Victoria as she walks through the Oak Woodland in Tinnerö. Children eat outdoor lunch with her at Rosenkällasjön, children from different schools visit the bird club and nature school, other kids orientate with her, compete in nature, learn about mushrooms and lava, cycle and hike on the trails in the nature reserve.
Hardly any peaceful nature experiences with hundreds of people around, but the crown prince seems happy.
- "It's incredibly beautiful here", she says pleased at Frökärrskullen's grave field.
As soon as she walks further, new questions emerge.
- Is it fun to be crown princess? What's the most fun? wants her young hikers to know, and Victoria answers that it is fun.
- "I'll have fun days like this! The variation is the best, no day is equal with the other."
- What does your daughter do in her spare time? Estelle? How old is she? Why did not she follow you here?
- "Five and a half", answers, Victoria, and tells that Estelle likes to be out as much as possible.
- "She would have liked to be here, but it's a bit too much people", explains Victoria.
Local associations show off their business, and Victoria has many interesting questions to her guides, about mushrooms, lichens, ancient remains, bees and birds.
- "There are record amount of geese here today", she can then inform the children surrounding her. Four different kinds of geese! Several of them we have home in Haga Park.
And then a little Isaac wondered where she had put her crown ("You know, I left it to the palace", says the Crown Princess, laughing), others want to know where she wants to go if she can choose ("to the South Pole, that would be fun, I have not been there") and if she likes earthworms (" hmm, difficult question ... they're needed", says Victoria, and now it's the kids who are laughing).
And then the crown princess gets hugs, and the cameras of the photographers are rattling again.

"Ralf, Margareta and Gunilla of the board got the great honor to guide the Crown Princess, the governor and mayor at Rosenkällasjön, the Tinnerö Oak Woodland on October 26th. There was a record-breaking amount of geese in the lake, according to manager Anders Jörneskog and 2000 gray lag geese, 65 bean geese, 190 canada geese, 60 white fonted geese and 8 barnacle geese were counted during the day. The Crown Princess was especially interested in seeing bean geese."

Crown Princess Victoria has had an eventful year 2017. The highlight was, of course, the 40th anniversary of July 14th - but during the rest of the year, she has had a trip to Japan and started her hikes in swedish provinces.
The walks aim to pay attention to the amazing nature Sweden offers.
In the book "Det kungliga året 2017" (The Royal Year 2017) released today, Crown Princess Victoria tells about the idea behind the hikes.
- I have had a great opportunity to see a lot of Sweden, tells the crown princess to Maria Gunnarsson, the editor of the book, during the first hike in Västergötland.
Victoria continues:
- Most visits are short-term. I have often left a place with the feeling that I didn't have enough time. I have missed the opportunity to take some extra time and to experience the nature.
The hike in Västergötland she performed with husband Prince Daniel. So far, children Estelle and Oscar have not been with her. But maybe they can be in the future. They are both very fond of staying outdoors.

The County Administrative Board of Värmland published today the program of Victoria's fourth hike at Glaskogen Nature reserve.

Crown Princess Victoria's hike in Glaskogen on Friday 17 November starts at Glaskogen Infocenter in Lenungshammar in Glava, starting at 11.30. The public is invited to participate in the hike.
The hiking in Glaskogen is a total of 8 km and follows the Nature and Culture Trail. The last two kilometers of the hike continue on Rösudden before the hike ends at Glaskogens Infocenter.

Program:
11.30 The walk starts. Location: Glaskogen Infocenter in Lenungshammar, Glava
11.40 Station 1: Predator inventory. Knowledge-based wildlife management with predator inventory
12.10 Lunch break at Café Carl, Herrgårdsbacken. Next to the Café Carl, the barbecue area will be open for your packed lunch.
12.40 The hike continues
13.00 Station 2: In Nature with the kids. Location: Green area at Laskerud. Collection site for school classes with activities like tree climbing, barbecue area with scouts, balance exercise and balance course, distance assessment, home-made coffee and snack by young people from daily activities (LSS) in Arvika.
13.30 The hike continues
14.00 Station 3: Nature parkour at Stora Gla - Show and teaching with Säffle Parkourförening
14.20 The hike continues
14.35 Station 4: Planting trees on the clearcutting - Stora Enso Skog plants trees together with students.
14.55 The hike continues on Rösudden (about 2 km)

I am truly enjoying each and every hike that Princess Victoria does, she is such an amazing woman. It is no wonder that she is so well loved and admired for she gives so much of herself for the country and her love for the people shows all the time. Hike with the Crown Princess - Royal Glamor on a Värmland trail
- But mom, she looks like we! Is she really a princess? The dream became true. To meet a real princess! Just an hour away from home, HRH Crown Prince Victoria of Sweden started the weekend by visiting nature reserve Glaskogen. Of course we just have to get there! Imagine hiking with the Crown Princess ... So we packed with a little food bag ... And we got to walk with the Crown Princess!
The Nature and Cultural Trail is about 8 kilometers in total including a little detour on Rösudden. Since the walk was having a quite high tempo, not exactly the rate we usually keep when we are out, we soon ended up on the back...
One of the stations was full of activities. There was obstacle course, grilling bread on a stick, climbing course in trees and Mulle was there and played games. There Greta and Salim went almost immediately. They played and sang. And suddenly she stood there. The Crown Princess. None of the children dared almost to look at her, so shy they were. Even mom Elin suffered some kind of Jante thought like "we should not bother her" and there were hardly any pictures either...
But why we spent almost an hour to get crowded with all these people just to snuggle on a royal. In fact, the arrangement is really in line with what we stand for. Dream about. Want to inspire. The Joy of movement. Activities close to the nature. So the initiative "Hike with the Crown Princess" is something we want to support and pay attention to. That she chooses to focus on Sweden's every possibility, that she brings up the idea of hiking with more people is just so GOOD! That along with the effort Prince Daniel runs in Generation Pep really shows the way and shows enormous awareness about what's important. Maybe they would have been our idols even if they were not royals but because we share the same utopian dream ?!...
In total. We have had a lovely day outdoors. Hiking with the Crown Princess will be a cool memory to save. As soon as we left home, it was noticed that the excursion affected. Now, little brother plans a princess party, and he is going to be called Victoria. We have learned that it can be a good outing even without hot chocolate...
We walked a bit too slowly so the station nature parkour we missed completely and also the planning of trees, but what does it mean when we met a princess. A real princess. Without a crown but with a beautiful smile.

Video from SVT News. Victoria says that it is great to be there, and it's fun that there are so many children, who actually haven't been there before. It is good! Hopefully this wasn't the last time they came here, but the first of many visits. About her balance course Victoria said: It was close that it would go bad. I didn't think it would be so wobbly. I'll have to go home and practice a little, I think. Victoria gave a big hug to the girl who was with her at the balance course.

I just love these hikes that Victoria goes on, what a way to get close to the people and promote good will. This will be some thing that each and very person going with her will remember the rest of their lives. It also shows the people just what the future queen is like and how she is going to do the job. Kungliga Magasinet has at its new issue an article about Victoria's hike in Västerbotten and inauguration a sports facility for children and young people in Norsjö.
The editor-in-chief of Kungliga magasinet and SVT's royal expert Roger Lundgren ("Royal Roger") was the moderator of the event. He is from Norsjö and hosted Victoria's visit in Norsjö in 1997 as the chairman of Norsjö Youth Council.

- I remember it was a very intense day with many experiences. A nice summer day with good weather. Now it has been many years so it feels very good to be here again.

- It's really a very beautiful part of Sweden! It is always as nice to travel to the northern part of our country.
The Crown Princess will hike in all Sweden's provinces. How is it that?
- I think it's fun to visit all parts of Sweden. There is much to see and experience, and it's very important to highlight outdoor activities and to move. When I meet the media, I can also tell you about it, which is very fun.
Today the Crown Princess has opened an open-air sports park in Norsjö. Here, children and adults will move, train and play. Why it is so important?
- We can see that in Sweden we move less, especially the children are increasingly sedated, and it leads to public health problems. Any initiative to make people exercise is good and necessary.
Would princess Estelle and Prince Oscar enjoy this sports facility in Norrsjö?
- Both are very active children and they would absolutely like it! But I think they would prefer to visit the park another day when there are not so many people. I'm very happy to be here today, and I'm inspired by the sports facility.
