Victoria met today at the Royal Palace Carl Hedenbergh, Emma Eriksson och Philip Folkesson, who run Young Enterprise Company EnvironmenTALK UF. Their business idea is that they hold lectures at events and schools about how young people can save money by being environmentally conscious.
Daniel met Carl, Emma and Philip when he visited Katedralsskolan in Växjö on 7th March with Prince Daniel's Fellowship entrepreneurial programme. They told about their company to Daniel when Daniel discussed with the students about their business ideas and Daniel suggested them that they should book a meeting with Victoria, who is committed to environmental issues.

Later today Victoria visited Skota Hem
"Then we wrapped up for this time with the Crown Princess who met the wonderful children at Skota Hem. DOP @jbodesand caught nice pictures from the sailing for 10 s/m. @f_bjorklund fixed sound among storm gusts and fluttering sails. Obviously this was an event Victoria did for Kronprinsessan Victorias Fond/Crown Princess Victoria's Fund. Skota Hem organizes sailing for people with disabilities. Crown Princess Victoria's Fund supports an active free time for children with disabilities or chronic illness, among other things, camps, trips / excursions and various sports - activities that often require resources for additional staff and custom equipment. The purpose is to support activities that contribute to active leisure, breaking isolation, raising the quality of life, strengthening self-esteem and meeting new friends. The video of Victoria's visit to one activity the Fund supports is shown every year on SVT a few times before Grattis Kronprinsessan-Victoria's birthday concert, and it is shown also at the concert.

EDIT: I was right. From Facebook of Skota Hem:
"On this a little unnecessary windy day we had a film team to visit to make a feature about Crown Princess Victoria's Fund. The patron herself came to visit and sailed to Baggensfjärden with our training group.
So fun to see our amazing young people enjoy the moment together with our lovely Crown Princess!"

One of the first speakers was ambassador Jan Eliasson, Chair of SIPRI (Stockholm International Peace Research Institute) Governing Board, the former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations. Eliasson mentioned "the crown princess" many times in his speech. He said at his speech among other things: The crown princess and I met every now and then. Today I asked her what she and Estelle were doing during the weekend. And she showed from her cellphone a photo of her and Estelle, collecting trash to plastic bags in Haga Park. That is what I call a role model.
I think that Jan Eliasson is besides Victoria's friend, also one of her mentors. Eliasson has told in his interviews that he visits Haga Palace every now and then.

Young Enterprise Kronoberg tells about the meeting at their website:
The UF company met the Crown Princess Victoria
On March 7, Prince Daniel and Prince Daniel's Fellowship visited Katedralskolan in Växjö to speak about entrepreneurship with the students.
The day started with an aula lecture, which then resulted in UF companies having time to talk more about entrepreneurship, UF entrepreneurship and future dreams in round table talks with the Prince and inspirationers. It was here where the idea of what would then be a meeting with Crown Princess Victoria became.
EnvironmenTalk UF was one of the UF companies that was in place that morning and consists of Carl Hedenbergh (Managing Director / CEO), Emma Eriksson (Seller) and Philip Folkesson (Economics). Their business idea is to hold lectures on the environment from an economic perspective, to increase the younger generation's awareness of how to save money through environmental awareness. What they didn't know this morning was that their corporate presentation for Prince Daniel would later lead to an inspiring meeting with his wife Crown Princess Victoria.
In conjunction with Swedish Young Enterprise Championships on May 17, EnvironmenTalk UF went to the Royal Palace to meet the Crown Princess. Expectations were great and mixed with excitement for what was expected. They met Victoria's aide-de-camp who welcomed them before entering the room with the Crown Princess.
The meeting lasted 45 minutes and handled various types of environmental problems that today threaten our world. Victoria's commitment to the environmental issue was well noticed, and as ambassador to the UN's global sustainable development goals she was careful to emphasize the importance of daring to talk about the environmental problems.
"She pointed out several times how great the importance of entrepreneurial forces actually is and that it is an important part of the work to solve the environmental problems, and that is where we EnvironmenTalk UF enter as an important tool in environmental work", Philip says.
"At home they were shocked that we should visit the Crown Princess", says Emma, "My grandmother is still ecstatic", said Carl.

The Crown Princess Victoria is in Japan to attend a sustainability conference.
The schedule shows both meetings and amusements - in the form of a Swedish gala concert.
It has been over a year since the Crown Princess Victoria recently visited Japan, even in Tokyo, in her role as UN Ambassador to the Global Sustainable Development Goals.
Now she is back, and on Sunday the crown princess has been received by ambassador Magnus Robach.
- On Sunday there has been a reception at the Swedish Embassy that the Ambassador hosted, and then the meetings begin on Monday, explains Ulrika Näsholm, information officer at the court.
The Crown Princess is in Tokyo to attend the "Keystone dialogue" sustainability conference, number three in the scheme.
- It's a follow-up meeting, the first meeting was in the Maldives, the second in Stockholm and now it's the third meeting. Ten of the largest fishing companies gather there and discuss global cooperation on sustainable seas. Many of the big fishing companies are based in Japan. The Crown Princess is one of the ambassadors of the UN's Global Sustainable Development Goals and focuses on the objectives of sea and fisheries. She is deeply committed to sustainability issues.
- I think the Crown Princess appreciates Japan. Last she was there on an official trip, about a year ago, says Näsholm.
During Monday and Tuesday, more sustainability meetings are waiting. But some fun is also on schedule. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performs at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on Tuesday.
- The visit ends with the crown princess attending a gala concert organized by Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. It happens to coincide with this visit, says Näsholm.

Hopefully the court publishes some photos of Karuizawa Dialogue, and Keystone Dialogue probably puts one photo to their website when they update Karuizawa Dialogue there. The meetings are not public events, because the purpose is to create the best possible atmosphere for fruitful and open discussions.

The Crown Princess is acclaimed after visiting Japan
Crown Princess Victoria's visit to Japan was a great success.
She has been in Tokyo three days to discuss sea and fishing issues - and according to Swedish researcher Henrik Österblom, the Crown Princess is "completely fundamental to the success".
The Crown Princess has participated in the third "Keystone Dialogue" meeting, where the future of the seas was on the agenda. Amongst the participants are representatives of the world's largest fishing companies and researchers.
Victoria is one of the ambassadors of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on oceans and fishing. And if you believe the Swedish researchers who have been in place in the Japanese capital, the Crown Princess has made important efforts.
- The Crown Princess has begun the meeting with many wise words, actively contributed throughout the dialogue and continuously supported the entire process by actively helping to motivate all participants to take great steps forward, says Henrik Österblom, Deputy Science Director at Stockholm Resilience Centre, in a written comment to Expressen.
- She has taken several steps aimed at getting companies to take global leadership. She is absolutely fundamental to the success we have achieved so far, he continues.
A little fun was on the schedule for the Crown Princess too.
On Tuesday, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra performed in Suntory Hall, which the Crown Princess would not miss. Concert Hall Manager Stefan Forsberg tells that Victoria extended her Japan trip when she heard about the concert.
- It was an explosion of joy by everyone in the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and myself when she arrived. It gave a huge amount of extra radiance. We have been here to pay attention to 150 years of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Japan, it is a grand jubilee that has been going on throughout 2018, says Stefan Forsberg, and continues:
- That the crown princess came to this concert in one of the world's finest concert halls - of course, it was extremely appreciated and gave extra touch.
He further explains that the concert's first part featured music from Nobel ceremonies, as the Crown Princess noted.
- She thought it was fun and said, "This is something one knows, this is with what we make the entrée", says Forsberg.

Global leaders in seafood step up their actions for ocean stewardship
Ten of the world’s largest seafood companies announce they will increase their efforts to strengthen sustainable practices in the seafood industry
A dialogue between ten of the largest seafood companies in the world concluded on 4 September, 2018 with a shared commitment to advance sustainable practices within their global operations and supply chains. The dialogue marks the third in a series of keystone dialogues between companies from Asia, Europe and the Americas, facilitated by the Stockholm Resilience Centre (SRC). These companies collaborate in the Seafood Business for Ocean Stewardship (SeaBOS) initiative, with the objective to take leadership on ocean stewardship.
In line with the SeaBOS charter, the meeting resulted in an agreement to address key topics affecting ocean health and seafood sustainability, including Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated fishing and modern slavery. SeaBOS companies are now piloting and testing new technologies for traceability in their global supply chains and will actively engage in the ongoing Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability to improve existing global standards.(...)

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden participated throughout the meeting in her role as global advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).(...)

The fourth Keystone Dialogue is scheduled to take place in Thailand in 2019, hosted by Charoen Pokphand Foods and Thai Union.

The royal court about Victoria at Keystone Dialogue 3 - Karuizawa Dialogue

The Crown Princess participated in the third edition of the Keystone Dialogue on 2nd-4th September. Stockholm Resilience Center arranged the meeting where the CEOs for ten of the world's largest seafood companies participated. The aim was to further develop global cooperation on sustainable seas.
Keystone Dialogue 3 was held in Karuizawa, Japan. The meeting was a follow-up to the previous dialogues that took place in the Maldives in November 2016 and in Stockholm in May 2017, as well as the informal meeting with the largest Japanese seafood companies that took place at the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo in April 2017.
Keystone Dialogue 3 was launched on Sunday evening when Ambassador Magnus Robach hosted a reception at the Swedish residence in Tokyo.
On Monday, the Karuizawa meeting began with the crown princess's opening speech, she said:
"Today, there is a growing awareness of the critical role your industry plays in ensuring access to high-quality, nutritious food.[...]
In the end, it is a simple equation: For a healthy world, we need a healthy – and sustainable – seafood industry.[...]
In only two years, you have achieved a lot. The conversations that you are having are already influencing a much wider conversation about the need for ocean stewardship and sustainability in seafood production. You are setting new standards for the global seafood industry. You are, indeed, leaders - in the true sense of the word."
During Keystone Dialogue 3, SeaBOS activities were discussed and how cooperation between fisheries companies will be further developed.
The visit to Japan ended with the Crown Princess attending a concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Suntory Hall in Tokyo.

She said also at her speech
"Let there be no doubt: there is still a lot of work to do. Therefore, I am very excited about the community you are building with SeaBOS and the values you are creating.
I look forward to seeing the collaboration within SeaBOS grow even stronger. To welcoming new members into this community. To making new commitments and celebrating new achievements.
Ladies and gentlemen: I expect great things from you. In the next two days – and in the years to come! So that we can continue building our shared values, and you can continue providing future generations with healthy food."

Saturday the 15th of September, the Crown Princess inaugurated Håll Sverige Rent-dagen at Kungsträdgården in Stockholm.
September 15 is the World Cleanup Day.
The Crown Princess was welcomed by Håll Sverige Rent's CEO Johanna Ragnartz and the visit began in Håll Sverige Rent's base camp. The Crown Princess received information about Håll Sverige Rent's activities, Skräplabbet and met the founders of Esferica, which makes sunglasses made of recycled plastic.
The Crown Princess opened the day and said "Did you know that 80 percent of all the waste in the sea comes from land? And most of it's litter - it's plastic. Plastic that does not disappear. But as time goes it breaks into small, small parts. It's really quite simple. [...] Now I think we together help keep Sweden clean. Today and every day!"

Victoria said at her speech also:
And now I would like to turn especially to you who are children. Because I know you're even better aware of this than we adults have. And I know you see things that we adults miss.
I want to encourage each of you to question when you see things that are becoming unnecessary litter:
Should we, for example, use so many disposable packages?
Do we have to drink with plastic drinking straws? Which are used a few minutes, but that can take several hundred years for nature to break down?
Have you thought about such a simple thing that glitter is microplaster? And microplasts end up in the seas.
By asking such questions, we - children and adults - can make an important contribution to the environment.

Victoria attended this evening at the meeting of Crown Princess Margareta's Veteran Reserve Foundation at the Royal Palace.

The Foundation was founded a year after the death of the Crown Princess in 1921. The first chairman was crown prince Gustaf Adolf, after him his son prince Bertil. Crown Princess Victoria has been the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Foundation since 2009.

Crown Princess Margareta took the initiative in August 1914 for a committee which was given the name The Crown Princess' Central Committee for Clothing and Equipping the Veteran Reserve. The Crown Princess chaired the committee. At the end of 1915, the various local committees were coordinated to form a national association, commonly referred to as the Clothing Association.
In 1921, the year after the Crown Princess' death, the Clothing Association was closed and the Veteran Reserve Foundation was created.

Victoria met on Friday at the Royal Palace Petra Tötterman Andorff, the Secretary General of The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation (Woman to Woman).

DN (Dagens Nyheter) publishes tomorrow a large reportage of Victoria's work for sustainability and seas.

Video at DN's social media:
"Crown Princess Victoria's new calling: to save the oceans. In a large interview, the Crown Princess tells about the project she is working to change the global fishing industry - read the interview on dn.se on Friday."

At the video is is written:
At a time when the world's rulers fail in the climate issue, Crown Princess Victoria wants to lead the way. For six months, DN has followed the Crown Princess's work on sustainability and the seas.
Victoria says at the video: "It's about ensuring that we have protein, that we have food in the future. It's so infinitely important, we are facing a collapse of ecosystems."
Read the reportage by Karin Eriksson and photographer Paul Hansen on Friday.
Dagens Nyheter - Kronprinsessan_ Det är så enormt viktigt att inte ducka för klimatet _ Facebook

Great! It is so important, that the swedish media tells about the work the royal family does. Not just about their clothes and hairdos. That DN has followed Victoria's work for six months, it is remarkable.
Karin Eriksson did last year a very good interview with Daniel of his seven years as a prince, so it is expected that the reportage will be good.

At DN's website about Victoria's work for sustainability and seas:
At a time when the world's rulers fail in the climate issue, gets a 41-year-old leader with particular sustainability lead the way. Crown princess Victoria tells at a large DN-interview about her work for the world oceans and the project which in the background has started to change the global fishing industry.
- I will always keep on with this. And it will be always needed, she says.

At the video Victoria says:
- I know very clearly my role and what I'm not going to get involved in. I know where my playing field is somewhere, and stay there. But I can not hold on and worry about what may happen.
At a time when the world's rulers fail in the climate issue, Crown Princess Victoria wants to lead the way. For six months, DN has followed the Crown Princess's work on sustainability and the seas.
- It's about ensuring that we have protein, that we have food in the future. It's so infinitely important, we are facing a collapse of ecosystems, says Victoria
When did the Crown Princess see the seriousness of the situation in the seas?
- I believe that it was when I became more and more engaged in the Baltic Sea. And became substantially, yes frightened and worried about how bad it was with the Baltic Sea. The Baltic Sea has been romanticized throughout my life. That's where you swam in the summer, that's where the summer holiday is.
During a holiday trip with the family, the Crown Princess received an unpleasant experience of micro-plastic.
- I had read and talked a lot about microplasts and its problems. But then it was the first time I actually saw it in the form of thinking that it was sand on my daughter that I would brush off and so it was actually small particles.
She is not just the UN ambassador for a more sustainable world, she is also a mother of small children, who is trying to keep the Haga Park clean.
- We went and picked plastic and everything possible, and so, little brother comes to us so happy because he found something himself. No, let it go, let it go! Then it's a poop bag, Victoria and reporter Karin Eriksson laugh.
