I understand first part, still don't get Sophie remark, Sophie did try to swap the sweets for Jellyatrics? OMG, I feel like I have no brain!

Sophie was just joking. Likely to play on Edward's feelings about being old.

Being given jellybabies - Sophie was very happy about this as she had spied the people in front had jelly babies to keep them going.

Edward's speech was again quite witty and he mentioned that he liked that the song Ubi Caritas was played as it was played at their wedding. He made a witty comment about being given the jelly babies and being glad they had not been given "Jellyatrics". These were special edition jelly babies released to celebrate 90 years of the sweets. The joke was obviously that it was a pun on geriatrics (the elderly) and you can hear Sophie say "I did try." :D

it was such a lovely speech. I must say, I have really liked Edward over the past weeks. They make a wonderful couple. And it was a perfect choice for Edward to be Lord High Comissioner with Sophie. After Queen & Duke, they seem closest to the church.

Thanks for all your hard work, Anna. :D Love the navy Valentino trench coat Sophie had on on the last day. Beautiful trim at the bottom.

That recent facebook gallery you linked is nice, especially the images of them ironing something onto tweed. You can still see Sophie's henna tattoo lightly on her hand.

Looked at your page for their diary in June - busy month ahead of them. Can't believe it's their 15th wedding anniversary in June. Did notice you say hopefully a new photo would be released....I doubt it but that would be lovely. I am sure they took more than 1 photo for Edward's birthday photo so it would be nice to see another one but it's unlikely. The BRF never release photos for things anymore like they used to.

The Countess of Wessex was attending a birthday for the 20th Anniversary of Children with Special Needs Foundation where she gave a set of keys for a new minibus.

The Earl of Wessex, representing HM The Queen, is visiting Poland on 4 and 5 July, to take part in the official commemorations of the 25th anniversary of the first (partially) free elections in Poland (and maybe some other engagements on 5 July, as the anniversary celebrations are scheduled for today only). Other royal guests include the King and Queen of Belgium and Grand Duke of Luxembourg. Besides that, several dozen of republican heads of state and government, including President Barack Obama of the United States. The photos from Treeloar make me want to cry- in a good way. I love them.
I see you also updated your post about Sophie's visit to the SNF.
That is just...precious. Almost no words for that. You trying to make me run out of tissues? !

Sophie is amazing and it really does annoy me she has such poor press but the way she speaks with people and the photos with the Harleys I don;t know she may love bikes buit if she doesn't she certianly looked very interested IMO. Looked great but not OTT ... Love her .. thanks Anna.
 
On June 4, after attending the official address to the National Assembly by the President of Poland in the Parliament building in Warsaw, Poland, the Earl of Wessex attended an another part of the 25th Freedom anniversary celebrations, an afternoon tea party organised by the British Embassy. It took place at the Bristol hotel, next door to the Presidential Palace in Warsaw. Photos from the event:

He called upon the President of Poland and was officially received by HM's Ambassador in Poland before that. He later visited the British School Warsaw, and opened its arts center. Thanks for the link, Anna. I love see Sophie in flat shoes and they are lovely pumps. They had a busy day, and I like that they visited flood victims.

Busy day for the couple tomorrow as well.
 
She looks great at all her events the burnt orange dress is really lovely on her and her look for the the above day with her quick shoe change .. very Sophie no fuss just get on with it .. love her.
