I think she was confirmed shortly before her wedding. is that right?

is it often the case that people who have a first communion don't go on to be confirmed?

thanks so much to everyone who posted. looking at all these photos, I think Letizia's appearance has changed less since her engagement than any of the other crownprincesses.

Well, if that answers your question, I myself am catholic and I had my first and solemn communions, but I was never confirmed...
Many people didn't go on to be confirmed, although, nowadays, the Church is trying to make it necessary to marry by the Catholic rites).

Here Is the article i put it in spanish.

Yust one more thing, i don't know if this is true because El semanal digital es not that credible.

Welcome, RhapsodyBrat!
Well, yes, they're trying to do so... but I have to say that, just three months ago, I attended a Catholic wedding and neither the bride, nor the groom was confirmed... In Letizia's generation, not everybody was confirmed, but I they're trying to require it to the youngest generations

thanks!

really? they aren't confirmed yet?

sorry, this is really off topic, but well, at least here in our country and for us catholics, you really have to be confirmed if you're having a church wedding. they'd ask for both the baptismal and confirmation certificates there's even an argument as to what age should one get confirmed...
