Zara and Mike enjoyed the latest visit to Australia a lot:

We had the chance to spend a few days on Hamilton Island this week - despite all the times we have been to Australia we have never been here before and it’s been amazing. It’s our first time being out on the water in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park too and it really was unreal, Queensland definitely has it all. Made some incredible memories. What an unforgettable way to spend some down time @queensland @hamiltonisland #familytime #memories @alaniexperience

Lovely ground. I was there on Day 3 but didn't see them. I am a member of the SCG but couldn't get to all five days this year.

If anyone is wondering why the fans were in pink at the end - the Sydney test is the 'pink test' and a major fundraising for 'The McGrath Foundation' which does a lot of good work for breast cancer awareness and helping those who have that cancer. McGrath was one of Australia's greatest fast bowlers and sadly his wife Jane died from breast cancer some years ago. A decision was made by Cricket Australia to use the SCG test (McGrath being a NSW boy so this was his 'home ground') to help the McGrath foundation to raise money.

It took off to the extent that both South Africa and NZ include a day of their test played at the same time and if they don't - as is the case this summer - they will have one of their one-day or T20 matches to also raise money for the McGrath Foundation.

In the UK the test at Andrew Strauss' (form English captain) home ground does the same thing in memory of his first wife who also died of breast cancer. They have their own foundation but the principle is the same.

Looks like the weather will be nice for them at the weekend as well while the rest of Australia swelters with Saturday expected to be over 40 in Sydney Brisbane and GC are looking at being around 31 - lovely summer days.
