Queen Mary of Denmark wore the Emerald Parure for the first time!

Queen Mary also wore for the first time the new family order of King Frederik X in the diamond frame (w/crown).

In Copenhagem Queen Letizia wore the long sapphire and diamond earrings previously used by Queen Sofia.

I think it is the hairstyle that messes things up. I appreciate her trying on a different style, but this one so does not work with a tiara.

The hairstyle was silly for a State Gala during a State visit in a foreign monarchy ,the jewels were all lovely but the overall look was let down by the ponytail.

This year we've seen Queen Mary wearing the Royal Crown Jewels, as well the Emerald and Pearl Poiré Parures for the first time; Queen Camilla debuting the Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik and Five Aquamarine Tiaras; Sophie wearing the Lotus Flower Tiara and Princess Sofia sparkling in the Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara!
